Can’t believe I thought of Alan Smith before Tony Adams but it was a close call. Peter Taylor’s teams were always well organised but uninspiring, The last game of the promotion season against Notts County was one of the most depressing, of course.
I think Peter Taylor might be the reason I’m so confused by criticism of our footballing style. Yes, we might be direct but we are an exciting team to watch. I could genuinely understand it if opposition fans watched a Peter Taylor Wycombe side and said they wouldn’t want to watch that every week.
If I was an opposition fan, then why would I watch a League Two game at that time?
I've lived up in the North since 87, originally from London so couldn't get to home games unless I visited my relatives who resided at 15 London Road. I've attended over 40 WW games, can name them all.
My sister in law wants four tickets but looks like she may struggle without ticketing history. It feels like the stringent measures of phase 3 will prevent a decent number of fans not making it. Unless there’s a spell of general sale on Wednesday - but that could be too late.
Guess we need to be careful of potential infiltrators on this site - could well be ticket touts looking to make a quick profit at the expense of the true SAFC fan

Evening all, I've been a Wycombe fan for 32 years, but not to been to Adams Park since the passing of my relatives who lived in the HP11 1BJ area. I have to rely on public transport to get to games, so have only been to local ones. I've not signed up to the ticketing system before 8th May. If I can get through on Monday, how do I prove I'm a Wycombe fan? The only top I have that fits me is the lime green away shirt.

@Quarterman - whilst your questions result in answers obvious to the Gasroom folk, none of them divide fact from opinion.
Apart from Alan Smith.
Oh, and the kit.
Oh and Peterborough.

The club aren't making it impossible for fans who don't have a ticketing history from buying a ticket. They are, sensibly, asking either that people go to the ground or phone in and provide some kind of proof of eligibility. I'd imagine a utility bill or similar somewhere in the south and not sounding like a Mackem will be good enough.
It will be a shame if potential WWFC fans of the future are prevented from going to Wembley but
not sure what else the club can do, unless Sunderland are given sufficient allocation to meet all their demand (which just might not be possible).
I suppose a lesson to be learnt for the casual fans is make sure you create a WWFC ticketing account - you don't want to miss out when we're in the Championship Play-off Final next year!

I may be wrong but I think you probably meant to say “It feels like the stringent measures of phase 3 will prevent a decent (?) number of fans from making it.
Sky just had someone with what sounded very much like a Mackem accent advertising the play-off final - reckon they could make their bias a bit more obvious? Thank fuck I won't be watching on the telly.
I used to live just off the London Road at that time and was a regular at the KGV, “KGV we are here something your women and drink your beer” although truth be told it was just drinking beer subsequently I moved away and I think it’s a gastro pub now.
Anyhow if @NoelWWFC can describe the internal layout as it is etched into my memory I’ll believe him

18,168 sold, pretty good considering it hasn’t been on general sale at all yet. It’ll be interesting if there’s much more interest next week as it’s so not simple to get a ticket now. Would be amazing to get to 25k but I think 20-22k is more likely.

Alan Smith is the undisputed most disliked manager if you supported the club since 1990. And the kit is the non quartered home kit.

Imagine anyone claiming to be a Wycombe fan of 30 years or so, and not even including Smith in the top 2 worst managers!!
To be fair, it's a long drive from Sunderland just to try and get a ticket!
It’s all logical to me, can’t really understand why anyone would think otherwise. We queued around the car park in days not long gone

@NoelWWFC in ten words or less for each compare and contrast Carlos Lopez and Sergio Torres as Wanderers.
@NoelWWFC is my favourite poster on here for years. Kudos to my Northern friend.

KGV certainly not a Gastro pub, might have a few regulars who suffer with Gastroenteritis after a belly full of ale.
That’s a relief I don’t go into that end of town and haven’t since moving away
They are not all anti Wycombe as this shows:- https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sunderland-issued-gareth-ainsworth-wycombe-23950792
I'll be extra glad I'm not watching on telly if bloody Hinchliffe is on commentary. Mark Lawrenson levels of moaning but without the strange charm.
“I guarantee that he'll already know a lot about Sunderland already Gareth but he'll be working hard already“
Only Sky would give someone with the vocabulary range of a 5 year old a job on the telly.
Boots for show, goals for dough

Failed jarabe tapatío at Cambridge. Sublime tango at Adam’s Park.
A simple thumb prick should sort out the ticketing. If a person bleeds light and dark blue then they can buy tickets.
