Parker a big surprise.
No Fred as well, when he's arguably the best player.
Gape, Bloom and Freeman will be an interesting mix as well.
Absolutely no lose today though. Don't like people saying it's a glorified friendly, that's silly talk, but it's a good chance to see what we're made of early doors
You could argue the 5 attacking players (Parker, Samuel, Freeman, Blooms, Wheeler) are the second string. A bit harsh perhaps but you’d expect Ikpeazu, Horgan, Onyedinma, Thompson, (new centra midfielder) might end up being considered first choice in those positions.

A lot of teams are treating these games as half-friendly, though. As long as we give a good account of ourselves, the result doesn't matter.
Yeah, training ground form , a bit of loyalty to those who got us up and individual fitness will have had a lot to do with team selection, nobody should panic too much if we get beat but it your going out there you might as well have a go. I'd expect Fred and Horgan to appear at some point. Good opportunity for Nick Freeman.

Coyb!!!!! Well... Yellows!!!
Team news
Uche doesn’t make the squad, Other 3 new signings on the bench.
Is he injured already !?!?
Parker is more than a little surprising.
Gaz did say there had been a couple of knocks, hopefully nothing more than that for - presumably - Pattison and Uche.
No keeper on the bench seems an odd choice too.
I was hoping Jem karacan would be announced....
Enforced by Yates' knock
Presumably Anderson is available though. Would seem to offer more from the bench than Phillips given we have Tafazolli and McCarthy.
Unsure of the rules on this, but is Anderson even eligible as he's technically a B team player?
Actually, isn't Phillips kind of? I don't know... Just hope Allsop doesn't pick today to take his time-wasting to new extremes.
That's not really a thing, it's wether they were registered or not for a particular competition surely
Bayo on commentary team? Excellent. Do they say who is destined for the B team when they sign them...i had not noticed
They don't explicitly, but the lack of squad number is a big giveaway.
According to sky Rockys our captain today
I like the.line-up. Great opportunity for parker to make his mark. Exciting.
Brentford's new ground looks like a CGI rendition of a real ground. Sure it'll look fine with fans in but looks weird empty.
Plausible deniability if we want to claim at some point in the season that we don't have a "senior" keeper to get a loanee if Allsop gets injured?
Not the greatest lineup strong bench tho.
I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised @Chris. And Horgan will go in goal if Allsop is injured or red carded!
That's not how the rules work @StrongestTeam
433 or 442?

Just jesting.
Re Horgan, that is.
