What were we supposed to do with three defenders unavailable? Other than that, you wouldn't be unhappy with the team starting a league game.

  • It does not look good, but a replay would be hilarious at this point.

  • Let's bring on Mustard so he can score in every competition.

Why was Burley allowed to be loaned out then ?

Would the "knock" any of them have had ruled all of them out of a league game? I'd suspect not.
We'll never know, but there's no way we'd suddenly roll into a league game with Forino in there.

    Why hilarious?
It'd be a bit of an arse, but still good we'd be in the hat!

  • If this was a league game we'd look totally different in defence today

  • Ainsworth has chosen to make the players unavailable. They would have played a league game.

Because of all the debate on here about the merits of replays. Hilarious is probably a bit strong, I'll admit. I'll downgrade to mildly ironic.

I seem to recall the same debate two seasons ago

  • Maidenhead have conceded six so far, so maybe Burley will get a chance sooner rather than later.

Came on at half time at 4-3 down.

Replay > going out of course.
But a replay is the last thing we really need.

  • All I will say on the subject of replays is that the modern football fan is missing out on a level of experience and drama that you just don’t get any more.

Football supporting is the poorer for it

  • Forino! Of all people!!

Now let's win this, no replays!

  • FORINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Forino of course! Well done.

  • Hanlan to come on and nick the winner? To complete scoring in the quadruple?

  • Or 1-2 down....

can we have that replay after all?

  • Came back from 2-1 down away to a northern blue and white team last time we played at this stage

Nope, other way round apparently. Finished 2-2 either way.

Apparently I head it was nearly but fairs

  • Penalty to Wycombe - 2:2 JJ

  • We are living on our luck in this one, frankly playing poorly and dont really deserve to be in with a shout; but nevertheless COYB
