Did anyone else know we took inspiration from Charlton's badge for ours? So we were one of the first clubs to go with the round design that everyone seems to now.

I only learned recently that the reason swans 'belong' to the royal family is because they used to eat them. That would also explain the chains.
That's it. Swans belong to the monarch, the High Wycombe swan's chains are broken because the Monarchists lost the civil war.
Slightly concerned by our defensive line up. Might be wrong, but didn't Forino play against Villa in the Papa John's. Seem to remember he struggled desperately against an admittedly very talented forward line. Hopefully he'll go well today though.
Will be tough against a side with an formidable home record. Ideally we win, but would be satisfied with a replay.

Their old badge was miles better
But I guess this one depicts a hart in le pool
"Say what you see," as Roy Walker would have said.
I see "reindeer subbuteo"
Imagine the guesses we'd get for ours!
I rather like this one. Was their old one a football on a ship’s wheel?
Anyway COYB. I quite fancy a cup run this year. Or at least a trip to Arsenal in R3.
That's the one!
I often wonder what others make of our badge. The shackled swan always looks so uncomfortable.
Looks like a bad logo for a faux posh farmers market, the type that is hawking Christmas boxes in march

I really like their badge, one of the best examples of the minimalist modern style actually working

Why is the swan in chains?

One explanation
Swan is born free and he is everywhere in chains.
Let see what happens today ,,,,,,,,,,,
He’s not, the chains are broken. I think it dates back to the Civil War.
Thank you @bookertease

And to think, we could have had a chair...
Interesting line-up today. Stockdale not even on the bench. In fact no sub keeper at all. Hope it's not an injury.
Anyone else quickly googling Chris Forino?
Go well young man
I assume he's one of several we've just left behind. We could have named nine subs if we'd wanted to.
Hmm, defence is looking very light to me
One inexperienced center back
Wheeler/Kaikai-Thompson-Gape-Obita
Presumably
I was hoping the Twitter graphic was too small for our extra subs, but we really have just named six.
Burley on the bench for Maidenhead. I guess Forino is ahead of him in the pecking order now.
Isn’t six more than enough?
