Goal was actually a very fortunate OG. Little movement from AAH is seeing a lot of sideways passing. Anis looks like he’s having fun, Young looks decent. We had more shots against Shrews and Lincoln. Crendon started well but have backed off, loss of their no.8 to injury seemed to be the turning point. That’s all I’ve got
Very unlike watching Wycombe normally: lots of quickly taken short corners and free kicks and playing out from the back, which might not be the wisest thing on this pitch.
Bit disappointed in Crendon so far, not as up for it as I expected, or maybe we're just marshaling them well.
Having Anis on the pitch feels tantamount to bullying at times.
It's crazy Anis played whatever tier it was two seasons ago (ninth? there is video of him playing Hashtag United on their channel), then up to the second tier last season, then third tier this season, now on the road against Long Crendon.
I must say that as a slightly colour vision challenged person, the Wycombe kit decision is absurd to me as I struggle to split the teams. Admittedly from the video clip.
A "ringer" Calling up someone to play for your team that hasn't registered with the team. I bet those who have played Sunday morning football know what I mean.
Really impressed by Adam Leathers. Played in a more advanced position today and looked really comfortable on the ball. Along with Pendlebury and Young, he bossed the middle
I barely recognise my own family so no chance of knowing who any of them but the number 45 (I think) with the braids looked pretty good in the second half. Worked hard and created a fair bit.
Very enjoyable evening. Left before the the fourth to get away in good time - busy week at work - but enjoyed some cracking football by our lot and an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. A very nice conversation with drummer Tom before the game - pleased to see he's in good shape. Young absolutely bossed the midfield. Anis had an excellent 45 minutes and everyone else showed up well.
Looks like ours was the first QF and we may need to wait a bit to see how the next round draw pans out.
Hoping the Franchise get knocked out before we do, but otherwise it’s good to see the coverage the club is giving to this, and also really positive to have competitive fixtures for the development squad.

1-0 Wycombe. Our Iraqi fans will be happy!
The new what? You stubbed your toe mid-sentence.
Young controlling the game from the middle, one of the trialist CBs looks decent as well, although no real challenge as yet

Hang on...one minute using triallists is an insult now using a first teamer is an insult. Confused am I.
It's the same as when deciding whether to use a condom. Damned if you do, damned if don't
Cracking goal from Jack Young, he’s been fantastic so far.
0-2
Don't know if there's any cameras here but Jack's goal is well worth seeing.
Sadly some embarrassing chanting from our maligned drummer behind the goal during the second half.
Nothing particularly outrageous, but is there really any need to sing “fuck off crendon” on repeat for most of the second half at a B&B game?

0-3
Ran through and slotted under the keeper.
Crendon tiring.
3 nil, good goal from Pendlebury

Now all fallen into place, thank you.
I wish the club would provide better coverage on games like this.
"There's only three A Trialists, three A Triiiiiiiiialists..."
0-4 Fischer
Nice curling finish
Four nil, Fischer

Anyone who was there with a keen eye and a knowledge of untapped talent shed any light on who any of the trialists were?
I barely recognise my own family so no chance of knowing who any of them but the number 45 (I think) with the braids looked pretty good in the second half. Worked hard and created a fair bit.
No but I doubt we'll be seeing any of them in the quarters anytime soon.
Hard to judge the defenders, but even against extremely limited attackers we gave them a few chances.
45 who came off the bench had good feet and was involved in Pendlebury's goal, had fairly distinctive corn rows so someone might know who he was.
Hard to judge players on such a heavy pitch, but Young, Pendlebury and to a lesser extent AAH stood out
Attendance confirmed as 1904, a record for the ground.

Second half goals, Young, Pendlebury and Fischer.
