If you have a friend that films a video of you FOUR YEARS ago and keeps hold of it know how much shit you’d be in should it come out, and then it suddenly (for some reason) it does now come out - I would suggest that friend is pretty terrible. He was holding onto it for a reason.
His mates were also the ones that say they hated scousers, but the ref is the one copping it in the neck for everything.
That’s not to excuse what was happening in regards to the amount of Charlie going up his nose, but I would defend him in being able to call someone a c unit after they have acted that way towards you, and still have the capacity to be professional during his working time. I’ve worked with many people I’ve not liked. Doesn’t stop me doing the job I’m paid for, as well as I can do.
It was definitely a loss at home to Mansfield. Towards the end of a season where we'd played well, and only finished one point outside the playoffs. Pierre had had a very good game too
Bit third hand this but I spoke to the brother of another players wife after the Pierre incident. He said his brother in law was told by Pierre that our “supporter” had made extremely offensive comments about Pierre’s partner and the dressing room consensus was that Aaron showed remarkable restraint all things considered.
Shocked when we managed to sign him. That era when we were almost begging for players. A terrific player for us. He’s had a decent career after he left. I’m always surprised that his time with us has been linked with a single incident where he acted in an imperfect but understandable way. He deserved better.

Not sure what you mean by having some terrible "mates"?
Fair comments.
I'd imagine he's in a pretty bleak place.
Swindon?

It was the 1st season where they had the 100 club. The actual day of the thank you event for the fans after the game.
Quite a surprise then that the individual involved couldn't wait to rush back to the club and make a scene outside the Vere Suite.

Ahhh...yes, I remember at the time thinking of all the people to have moaned at Pierre was not one of them.
Pierre was a good lad and a real good player for us.

I wonder if any Maori in Shropshire have been given a call yet
