Have to fit them into the calender due to the World Cup being in winter.
With that said, teams that may not have the technical ability but are better at managing their players' fitness and rotation could spring up some shocks. Gibraltar's result against Bulgaria, for example. But if you think England players are tired think of poor San Marino, they're all amateurs.
Ha. The Gibraltar U21 team played Bulgaria just 2 days after the seniors drew 1-1 with Bulgaria seniors (thanks to a Liam Walker pen to level the scores). The U21 game finished 1-1 too, this time with Dylan Peacock levelling via the penalty spot. Even had chances to win late on. It's just funny how they played at both senior and U21 level in such a short space of time with the exact same result.
As in, we're being made to play behind closed doors, not that all the fans who were going to go have been banned (although you never know with England...)
As in fans who were not planning to go were also banned but wouldn’t have been aware that they were banned because they’d no need to know. But if they changed their minds at the last minute and went they would have discovered that they were banned. But they hadn’t had a banning order placed on them as individuals. We were all banned in effect as a result of FIFA (or some such authority) having punished us (or rewarded us as it turned out) for the failure of Wembley security arrangements to prevent a load of yobs from gatecrashing the European Final against Italy last year.
It’s as simple as that. Except it isn’t. For a breach of security, BCD (behind closed doors) allows you to provide access to a couple of thousand under 14s ; racism (in Hungary) allows you to provide access to 20,000 spectators provided they are all adults with young children.
Let me be serious for a moment! It wasn’t a ban on specific individuals and certainly not a ban on each and every fan by name. @ReturnToSenda’ s theatre of the absurd. At least I think so.

And Luton!
Alright how bad are Bulgaria now? They just limped to a 1-1 draw with Gibraltar.
They've been crap for years
Merlin’s beard! I had no idea there were more nations league games happening.
Yep, 4 lots!
4 games for England in 11 days in June in total.
I've long since become bored of internationals, but that seems even sillier than anyone could imagine.
I like the Nations League as a competition, but these players are broken.
So do I. On the whole they’re much better games than friendlies, but playing them now is absurd.

Yeah, but they haven't just played a ridiculously intense season at the elite level
I may have missed something, but are covid measures back in stadia? There's only about 12 people watching England.

Fans banned for the trouble at Euro 2020 final
As in, we're being made to play behind closed doors, not that all the fans who were going to go have been banned (although you never know with England...)
At this point it seems more of a reward than a punishment!
Ahh, thanks.
I definitely would not want to watch this every week
A right back at left back is so painful to watch.
I've tried to make sense of this post but am struggling. Can you explain please?

Just that England fans have a long history of causing trouble
Not good enough.
What does this mean..' not that all the fans who were going to go have been banned (although you never know with England...)'

Sorry @LX1 . Hadn’t noticed @ReturnToSenda’s response. Thought you were responding to my pellucid explanation!
In that case, sir, I hope you will not object if I also offer you my most enthusiastic contrafibularities
It gives me great pleasure your LX1ship.
Too hot to play the World Cup in Qatar in summer but not decisive qualifiers apparently https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/fifa-slammed-for-playing-peru-vs-australia-world-cup/blt51b9be7fd4d548a1
Laurence Bassini is about to take over at Birmingham, god help them
I always knew it was Notts Forest!

England - wouldn’t want to watch that every week
