Personally I’d like us to have an absolutely wild away kit. The best shirt we’ve released in ages is the rainbow one so something along those lines would be ideal.
Quarters with white shorts looks very nice to me and really makes the blue and blue standout.
Surprised at the number of secret Man City fans on here wanting us to play in plain light blue shirt and white shorts because they can't get a seat at the Etihad.
Do we know when we can look forward to a lovely new kit coming out?
Didn't buy the current one for 2 reasons - season 1 being a behind door's season, and it not looking as fresh as the last few versions, it felt too generic to me.
However, I'll buy the new one. Barring Smith coming back and designing the most lurid kit possible. Again.
I remember asking my dad about previous Wycombe kits when i started watching. The plain light blue had been around for a few years, but before it was introduced there was a shirt with very thin stripes which went down very badly with the fans, apparently. Another story I heard was that Brian Lee was behind the plain light blue shirt, but no idea if that has any truth. Evidence of a trend away from quarters is that at around the same time, Bristol Rovers ditched theirs for a plain blue shirt.
At the time of the switch the quarters were perceived as old fashioned more like a hockey shirt than football. Football kits were getting much more ‘fashionable’ by the late 60’s. There was very little interest in Wycombe history, it was all about the white heat of technology and a bright modern future, remember we weren’t even The Chairboys , we were The Blues.
I'm afraid this simply isn't true. Cambridge blue *is* the sporting blue i.e. the turquoise.
As someone said earlier, their rowing club has a slightly different shade of turquoise, but Cambridge blue definitely isn't the light blue from that branding website. That's simply one of many different colours they use on their website to make it more aesthetically pleasing
At least we get custom designed kits from O’Neils rather than what’s available at the factory. And as long as you know to buy three or four times larger than you normally do it’s fine!

Gotcha!
Annoyingly I don't think you're allowed one of each
Barcelona's horrendous 21/22 kit might have looked slightly better with the socks in different colours, mind you...
Pass me me shades, please. That’s positively migraine-inducing.

Spurs had this one - I think targeting the Asian market (understandably) - and I absolutely love it tbh
I really like that apart from the size of the sponsors logo.
Also check out Forward Madison - minor league US club with a bit of a cult following - they have a lot of fun with their kits

Quarters with dark blue shorts all the way for me. 100% no white shorts or plain blue shirts…I mean c’mon.
You’s the man @Ozzie_the_Relaxed .
I feel a poll coming on !
Graham Poll retired some time ago @HolmerBlue!
Haha !
Went to do one but couldn't work out how 🤦♂️
We should at least have the light blue shorts option. Some ridiculous instances of having to wear our change kit otherwise.
Do you mean striped? V rare. Or hooped?

If by "generic" you mean dark and light blue quarters with as few gimmicks as possible, that's exactly what my ideal kit would be!
Just seemed a bit dull after the really creative swan one, the quarters within quarters and even the other one since Torquay was a bit different too.
However, I'll get the next one, barring an insane design job.

And now we’re living in an era obsessed with the past, so the quarters are safe.

Likewise, Oxford blue is a very specific shade of navy blue

We appear to have inspired the Italian national team's new shirt https://twitter.com/classicshirts/status/1531186823250251777?t=ztUiifHsRCMMH01S1NlIwA&s=19
Someone from the Azzurri has definitely been to Bucks. Because judging by the first photo the shirt will be accompanied by Marlovian beige chino's.
The Dutch also donning the quarters.
Not sure how popular this will be, but we're sticking with O'Neills next season
