I'll back the players whatever they decide to do in these situations, but I can see that happening in the very near future.

And those clowns at the EFL will probably award a 3-0 win to the abusers if a team refuse to play on.

I would happily have the team leave the field and let them have the points.
And their centre back applauded them. As I say for me dispiriting and before anyone says what about our fans...if it happened again and/or was on that scale I would find that dispiriting too.
At least their 'keeper had a word with them to stop the chanting. Rotherham captain had to go over to their fans after the incident at their game. Depressing.

I wondered if there were some ejections and he was clapping their fans applauding that?
Might be too generous to them!
That "sex offender" chant seems to be a favourite with goon minorities at the moment.
It seemed to start in reference to actual players connected with such things, but has branched out into randomly targeting others.
Unsavoury, but then a lot of chants are anyway.
I did like that after the repeated calls for it to shut up they did 1 more pathetic half hearted one, then that was the end of it.
Absolutely ruining football. Not enjoyable and something I don’t want to be associated with at all.
If our fans did that then I would give up watching.
We should allow allow away supporters in if they promise not to say horrible things about our players. Otherwise we should take away our ball and send them home without any tea.

I have a bad feeling some of our fans did similar v Oxford with Matty Taylor?> @Doob said:

I suspect you haven't read the room and general climate very well.
Must do better.
Wish our players had as much focus on the game as they did what was being sung in the stand.
While it is out of order and credit to those standing up to it, you can't argue we got schooled on the pitch today and it almost served as a distraction.
The only player who was up to his normal standard today was Thompson. Really sluggish and unimaginative play from everyone else, simple things done wrong, no vision. Particularly disappointing that Horgan didn't show us what he brings when he came on. Really disappointing. Shame Bayo didn't get a goal to shut up those chanters. Glad there's a break before the next match from the fans' perspective - Gareth needs to get his motivational skills out to shake the players out of this malaise.
Awful game. Just one of those days where we couldn’t seem to pull off a simple pass. MK are one of those teams, like Wimbledon and Morecambe, who just always seem to get a result against us without ever looking anything particularly special themselves.
We look weak in CM without Josh. I saw him before the game, walking fine and unaided, so hopefully back soon, but even so I think we should be looking for another DM as our number one priority.
MK customers once again showed their lack of class, but doubt their club will do anything about it. (Has anyone heard anything from Oxford on the homophobic chanting?)
Several groups of franchise customers (mostly little teenagers, but a few old enough to know better) desperately trying to cause trouble outside immediately after the game. Mostly ignored but did get a few bites from Wycombe fans. We have to continue to just ignore them as best we can - They are desperate to generate a rivalry with us because it will give them the legitimacy they crave. Don’t fall into the trap.
I can't remember coming home and all the memories being of the off the pitch stuff.
The chanting aside, there was some sort of medical emergency, and what looked like some sort of scuffle with stewards and kids behind the goal and a couple escorted out?!
I would very much begrudge the award of three points, by default, to any club whose fans display the kind of mindless, puerile and disgracefully abusive chanting that we heard today. Unfortunately, the commentary position at Adams Park is very close to the away end and it was clear that many hundreds of MK fans were joining in. Children’s voices in the Beechdean stand were clearly audible and the chanting must also have been heard by dozens of young kids in the Family Stand. That chanting was a dreadful example of adult behaviour for them to hear.
A very sad day, not so much for the defeat and disappointing performance - they are ephemeral and can be fairly readily remedied - but for a manifestation of growing social indiscipline which, unfortunately, is not going to go away in a hurry.

I think it was a kid, but sounds like they were ok.
Well, that was awful. Missed Vokes and Scowen first half, missed scowen 2nd half. Vokes definitely made a difference when he came on. I think the last 2 weeks have shown that we could do with a little freshen up. Center Midfield and Center back for me. Did we actually win many 2nd balls today ? We seemed to do a lot of watching them get to the ball first today without a challenge

I would take a 0-3 loss if that was the case @mooneyman as it really isn’t worth indulging these idiots by playing on in such circumstances.
My post at 6.35 was in response to the above post but it got separated by numerous other posts because I’m so bloody slow.
You have to applaud the attempt to switch the tactics around, but in taking JJ out, we lost a lot of quality ball, which was just what was needed with 2 big boys up front.
However, it was just one of those crappy games, the sort we always seem to have against MK as someone alluded to earlier.
10 days to re-set, then essential we get back to business in the next few games, which look favourable.
If people really think that was just a bit of harmless banter and we should just put up with it along with the increasing fun and frolics outside the ground, I am way out of the loop. Not a matchday experience I am intetested in. Might move to Vipiennes after all.
Anyway. Goons aside. What an appalling performance. No excuses. Tommo set the tone after 20 seconds losing the ball under his feet and almost giving ***** a chance to get ahead.
You do wonder when a whole team can’t collectively make 2 passes what has gone wrong in the build up. GMac was like a version of GMac but with a failing touch. We didn’t get a decent cross in all game. Anis never got going. Etc etc etc
And I’m calling time on Horgan. Stealing a living at Wycombe. We can get far better surely for the money we pay him.
Just one of those games, hopefully. The club management have done really well over the years with recruiting good players who are coming to the end of their careers - Vokes, McCleary, Obita, Stockdale even Akinfenwa in the present squad. To really progress we need to have some good young players who can develop and improve. Forino, Mehmeti, Hanlan, Tjay, Przybek, Pendlebury, Parsons, Kaikai, Al Hamadi, Linton spring to mind. Maybe this year is a holding year whilst the youngsters come on to replace the aging ones. At least we are safe from relegation now!

Flares chucked onto the pitch at three games at least... Are they really that easy to smuggle in? I genuinely have no idea cause I'm not a hooligan.

Looked like someone got 'escorted' out of the terrace in the second half

As for the game, dire from the off, missed Scowen and Vokes again. Improved a little once Vokes came on, but last 20 was just aimless punting again.
We have 10 days to stew on that one now, but need to hit back well against Shrewsbury.
State of the responses to this. I will keep going, but the environment at the moment is ever so slightly putting me off.

Currently having to explain to my 5 year old boy what the MK fans were singing.
Saw one of the MK fans walking along Hillbottom Road with a seat in their hand from OUR stadium.
Docking points is the only way to resolve thus. Education evidently doesn't work with morons like them.
