He is definitely the polar opposite of GA, who will say "my boys gave me everything" even if the QPR players were leaning against the goal posts smoking cigarettes.
There's an interesting one of him suggesting that people won't want to be referees in future due to the rules and the way they are made to interpret them, presumably he didn't think him screaming and shouting in their ear throughout had any such negative effect.
Chelsea v Wolves set to be moved to Christmas Eve for broadcast reasons. Would be the first Christmas Eve PL game for 28 years. Bonkers - attendance/viewership will be right down, surely.
Who knows, perhaps the good people of Maidenhead chose to democratically vote in people with some principles as opposed to those who like to make shady decisions?
(And I know nothing really about the pros and cons of the proposed move but having fun responding to @bargepole ’s black and white view of the matter)
I also don't know the details of what went on behind closed doors.
But it was you who started the 'black and white' view, by stating ''Far better to elect a conservative council and get rid of those costly social services that help people in need.'', when this is clearly and provably not the case at all.
As for the special education needs and disability transport, those are having their budgets slightly reduced, but far from being cut as you imply. It's a fact of life that virtually all Local Authorities UK-wide are struggling to balance the books, irrespective of which party is in control.
Wouldn't have thought a sharp legal mind such as yourself would miss the fact he was replying to you blaming it all on the liberals. Best off leaving it really and returning to the football, or the shallow end.
A masterful and insightful piece of political analysis there, @ReturnToSenda .
It's a pity you didn't apply to the BBC for the post of Political Reporter when Laura Kuenssberg stepped down, I'm sure the nation would have benefitted from your wise words.
I'm surprised you're still watching the publicly funded Spart channel @bargepole I had you down as a GB News sort...sending off cash to the latest sacked truthteller's legal fund. Bloody lefty Ofcom and their Stalinist 'broadcasting standards' and 'impartiality rules'.

@micra I constantly see clips of Marc White on social media, always ranting at his players or the officials, always swearing.
He's clearly playing a character to try and get himself known and it looks like it's working!
Utterly contemptible then.

Although it should be filed under 'other sports' I suspect

I'd imagine "it's all banter" and "I get as good as I give" are top of his auto responses.

Depends, if there's nothing else on the tele I'm sure people will watch. Chelsea v Wolves doesn't exactly get you excited though.
If I was a young single male I'd be very happy to go to a game and then out for the evening
Yea they are doing a REALLY good job… Who cares about special education needs or disability transport.

(okay so a newspaper article isn’t a “fact” and the source appears to be a conservative councillor and we all know how reliable they can be…)
And reading this it suggests that there may have been less than total transparency about the decision in the first place.

I think the key point here is: Fuck the Tories.
I would recommend protection if you do. Who knows what you could catch…
A nasty case of Thatcherpes
How can a major decision like this be delegated to an unelected officer?
They out themselves again
It's probably half the aggressive language, and half the fact Wycombe is massively Tory, so there obvs will be plenty of Tories on the board
Lolz
It's not aggressive 😂
But yes, the latter part of your post is true.

Huddersfield 1 QPR 0.
Now it's 2-0.

I do wonder if the QPR players are downing tools a little now.
Ha ha. I've never watched GB News, and have no intention of doing so.
There are many on the left who regard the BBC as a right-wing organisation, just shows you can't please everybody.
Comeback on
