I feel sorry for the normal people of Luton the town is blighted by some very nasty people on both sides of the communal divide. However no sympathy for anyone that comes onto here and defends the obnoxious DH and can’t admit that their club has a problem with racist behaviour.

There is a popular theme here regarding DDH. Namely that he is quite clearly a loathsome individual and didn't get there nickname "Diving Danny" without cause. Given that he is equally reviled by most fans of clubs in the EFL, I think it can be taken that he has earned the name.
If he joined your club and scored 25 goals and got you promoted alongside the beast you would want to have his babies and don't lie because you would as any team would,Championchip football or "oh no diving Danny we all hate him terrible bloke" don't make me laugh.
Actually, I would hand my season ticket back, I detest him that much. A proportion of the goals he has scored are from penalties gained from diving, over 25% of which he has missed, laughably, two of which were against us. The joy of seeing the one away at Oxford, in the last minute at the "Stade de Trois Cotes spill way over the car park still lifts my soul during the bad times!
The shame of it being, he is such a good player, that he doesn't need to "Swan Lake" through a football match. Plain fact is, he does and against every opposition, hence he has gained the notoriety that he deserves.
What has him scoring a lot of penalties got to do with it? If it comes of his backside it's still a goal and he usually scores over 20 most seasons. As I said in previous posts the beast tend to push players everytime he jumps for a ball, which in my book is a foul and gets away with it but this is ok with you?Yes I admit Hylton does dive a lot but he also gets clattered a lot and gets no protection from refs and I can 100% say that any team in this league would bite your hand off if he was to become available including yours.
you must be a saint then mate if you have never thought anything like this and as I said I hate rasism but it creeps into things daily for instance I took the dog out yesterday and there were 4 white polish people drinking in the local park and and I thought bloody eastern Europeans but if that had been 4 English teenagers I would have been annoyed but would have not said anything else so I suppose that makes me a racist in your book then.

You're being a bit disingenuous there. My knowledge of right wing hate groups is admittedly a little thin, but whilst it does seem the EDL was 'officially founded' in London, it's fairly common knowledge that it originated in Luton, in response to a small group of Islamic extremists staging a protest in the town at a homecoming parade for the Royal Anglian Regt. I believe an early guise of it was even called 'United People of Luton' and Robinson was a member of this too.

You clearly have a different view of Bayo to most. You understand the difference between superior strength and a foul surely. I would counter argue that Bayo gets a lot less protection than DDH. If you believe that DDH gets no protection from the referees, how is it that he, disproportionately, gets awarded so many penalties? Also, would be interested to know how many times he has been booked for diving? DDH spends so much time on his derriere I can only imagine he spends an immense amount on cream, for his "farmer Giles"?
You can fool some of the people some of the time . . . but not all attending fans of football can be wrong surely?
Gareth Ainsworth is an admirer of Hylton the player and once tried to sign him for us, I seem to remember. I would say to Gareth, please don't try to sign him again should the opportunity arise, we don't want racists at our club. If he did sign for us, I would stop coming to matches, as I believe many others supporters would.
@lilyrose You should have a look through the Sunderland Match Day thread and see how decent supporters of other clubs are, then come back here and see what supporters of Luton are like.
@Steve_Peart - genuine question. Do you really believe that 'many other supporters' would stop attending? Isn't the more likely response that people might grumble and pretend to adopt the moral high ground, but after a lot of hot air the vast majority would pretend it wasn't a red-line issue, mutter something about the player deserving a second chance and continue to trundle through the turnstiles. I think I'd be guided by what anti racism groups say has happened in the intervening period, has Hylton gone on all the right courses, apologised for his conduct etc? Are you saying in effect that you would rather the FA adopted a zero tolerance approach to racism, issued life-bans, and took the decision to attend or not away from the fans?
@Baldric, you are probably right to say that many would have an initial revulsion but would suppress that feeling because of their love for the club, and carry on attending. I think it would be a dilemma for quite a few, tbough.
I heard that his behaviour towards the Barnet players was way beyond the pale and I am unaware that he has had an epiphany since, and is a reformed character, in spite of the apologies he has given. Whatever 'retraining' they have, I don't think racists ever really change.
I'm not saying he should have had a lifetime ban, it's just a personal thing for me, the thought of him running out in the quarters at Adams Park, representing my club, churns my stomach.
Hypothetically if we signed him, or a Lee Hughes, Ched Evans type you could be certain the media guys would do their best , arrange an apology, donate to charity etc and that would satisfy some whilst looking as staged as it is. Maybe a question (possibly for tge bored only)) is what would it take if the player was already one of ours? Would we all want him out?
@Baldric I have stated this publicly before and believe I would follow my words with action in the event that Hylton should become a Wycombe player. I would continue to pay for my season ticket, as I would want to retain my Legacy Member voting rights, but would boycott any match in which Hylton was to take part.
You must have money to burn then mate as it is not cheap to watch football anymore.According to a lot of fans on here they would not go to any more games or hand their season tickets back? Are we talking a few hundred? or thousands by the sounds of it according to this forum which would put a massive dent in Wycombe's income which could see your club fold.Would you all let that happen? The more likely is that those fans that refuse to go would just be filed by new fans wanting to see probably one of the leagues best strikers.
@Uncle_T . That's two people, hopefully for you both it is only a hypothetical situation. I'm no longer a regular watcher of the team, but if I were then I'd want to be fully informed about Hylton's conduct subsequent to the event for which he was banned, and also want to believe that the boycott would make a difference. That's not to criticise the decisions you have reached personally. I tried to avoid watching the World Cup this summer because of the human rights record of the hosts - this wasn't a boycott which many adopted.
And what if he came in the January window and scored 15 goals and got you promoted to the championship I bet you would all say" i'm handing my ST back never going again"....yeah right.
I think another one on this thread said they would stop coming. I searched for "Hylton" on the Gasroom, amazing how many posts there are, and I counted seven different posters who said they couldn't/wouldn't watch him play for us.

The idea that signing the loathesome Hylton would suddenly swell the crowd is amazing.
Might get the odd EDL member attending!
I don't know how many EDL members are at Luton but out of the 10000 fans there yesterday you could probably count them on one hand, perhaps there are a few at your place?

I could just about live with him being a diving cheat, but I could never welcome a racist to my club however many goals he scored.

Still here? Tell us again how everyone you know is secretly racist and Hylton’s only mistake was to say it out loud.

No that makes you prejudiced
