@georgestokes13 . My word, that is a good post. Hats off to you.
You've taken a fair bit of character assassination, mostly because of a lot of people's frustration at the "gang" in general, and the mess with one of our best players, but you've come back pretty dignified and very willing to get this sorted.
Let's hope there's some way of a decent outcome for all. A non career threatening punishment for Pierre, some sort of "make up" and move on to more positive things.
@georgestokes13 I've been very critical of you over these events, George, but full marks to you for this post. A really manly effort to front up and extremely good, and something of a relief, to hear your balanced perspective. I hope you and Aaron are able to share an apology as you suggest.
If you can stand some advice from a complete stranger, stay off Twitter next time you're in a sticky position - it made an awkward situation very much worse for both of you, didn't it? The modern equivalent of counting to ten, I guess.
Thanks again for making the effort to write this: it cannot have been entirely straightforward. My feelings will be somewhat different if I see you tomorrow than they might otherwise have been!
@georgestokes13 Commendable and well done for speaking up. Let's hope you and Aaron shake hands on it at some point. I bet you just like him regret your actions before and after.
All George Stokes can take credit for is creating the biggest banker of the bank holiday weekend, Barnet at 8/5; odds too good to turn down I must say.
And with that the final harpooning of our playoff ambitions
I'd love to know how you say "I think you had a pretty awful game" with a gesture. I doubt either party here speaks international sign language, let alone both.
That's just one of the massive holes in your story @georgestokes13. Frankly, it's leakier than a sieve.
Sorry, I said the words you had a pretty awful game to him when he squared up to me. The gesture was before that when he was in the car, a middle finger if you really wanted to know, again, stupid yes.
If you have anything else you wanted cleared up from my sieve, just let me know and I'll give you all the answers I can.
"I appreciate I've angered pretty much all of you with my actions, and that's fine, but I think some of the comments towards me on here and digging into my personal life is a little bit below the belt."
That's what you get when taking the event to social media, wtf do you expect?
I will reserve judgement on your apologies if we as sensitive/create no atmosphere fans see it in your general behaviour at Wycombe matches.
Pleased to see you are fit enough to post @georgestokes13 (if you is really the same Twitter goon from yesterday) . I simply don't believe you only said what to claim to have and the gesture is surely a really important detail for us to understand as anyone in a car wouldn't have heard you unless you were really close. Any clues on that for my understanding. I think that might cause you the legal problem you don't think you have currently.
Based on what you are saying so far ( and major LOL for your first reaction being a Tweet. Youngsters eh!!!) I can't associate with you as a fan of our great club. I'd rather you didn't come again and certainly Monday might be too soon.
Ok Stokes, you've had you five minutes of fame, now please just go and crawl back from under the rock where you came. It's a shame you weren't twatted a little harder in my opinion..the blood around your nose is so obviously spread around to make it look worse is embarrassing. I am sick and tired of behaviour of the likes of you particularly at away games...it used to be an enjoyable experience for me supporting the team away this last 20 years, but not so any more, but the club is just as much to blame for allowing infantile youths like you to act up after a sniff of the barmaids apron. Go and 'support' another club..I'm not sure at all you will be welcome at Barnet.
@georgestokes13 Your post is helpful. By your own admission you were the instigator. My advice is to withdraw any complaint you have made to the Club in the same way that you have withdrawn it from the police. This would not be an comment of the rights or wrongs of the issue, just a recognition that it is an incident that has become blown out of proportion. You could leave a contact number with the Club so that Aaron can call you if he wants to do so but leave that with him rather than push the issue. This would greatly draw the sting out of the situation and allow you to come out of it with as much credit as is possible. I realise that you may feel aggrieved but clearly not everyone would agree with you. My advice may not be easy to follow but it is good advice nonetheless.

If putting your middle finger up is a criminal offence half the country would be in trouble
I actually think this gang association is unfair in thisome circumstance. It was one moron who started his mess....not a gang and marking them all out as player abuses is harsh....they are drunken idiots bit I feel the rest is unfair
Why on earth should he stay away from Barnet? That I don't get. It's his decision and you're now trying to intimidate him and threaten him, I think that means he should be able to headbutt you all doesn't it? And then none of you should turn up to Barnet
He has been a silly boy. Fair play to him for saying what he has on here but I agree he is likely to find he receives a fair bit of attention given his new found celebrity status if he presents himself at Barnet. My advice - stay away son.
One of the bits that doesn't add up is that he said he was told to contact the police by the club themselves!
Why on earth would they want the police brought in?
Probably wouldn't be the smartest move to turn up at Barnet, but I dare say he'll be flanked by plenty of abusive types so will be fine

@georgestokes13 actually that is a fairly good and reasonable post and does place it all in context.
Let's hope both sides can learn from this and move on

@georgestokes13 My heart bleeds for you. If you've got any sense you'll stay away from Barnet on Monday.

He already does support another club. He's a Chelsea fan.
I'm sorry @drcongo but what relevance does that video have?

More empty threats
@clifty04 Because Chelsea fans are vile.
@wyc1010 Because it's very raw and people are outraged still.
@drcongo and by every passing minute, you're convincing me that other Wycombe fans are vile...
@M3G I know, but I don't see what the outrage to do with Pierre has to do with George turning up to a match to support his team?
He has been a silly boy. Fair play to him for saying what he has on here but I agree he is likely to find he receives a fair bit of attention given his new found celebrity status if he presents himself at Barnet. My advice - stay away son.
@georgestokes13 You have a small window to put this right you MUST contact the club and withdraw the complaint for the club, Pierre, and yourself.
What like just nothing has happened?
@fame_46 I'm definitely not suggesting he's on that train.
One of the bits that doesn't add up is that he said he was told to contact the police by the club themselves!
