A player with (at least some) championship experience who might be amenable to a move in a position we need cover for can hardly be described as pointless.

Maybe, maybe not, but now we’re a massive Championship team, I think the time has probably come for us to have two first team ready/capable keepers in our squad, instead of having a rookie teenager, semi-retired part-timer or middle-aged member of coaching staff on the bench.

Lol. Who can forget that Richardson appearance, aged 53 or whatever it was that season, after we'd gambled all year having him on the bench!

All the very best to you 'Disco' Danny.

Casting my eye, somewhat nervously, over Stoke.
Matt Ingram back in goal for Hull vs Luton today after they shipped 8 (eight) at Wigan in midweek.
Apparently it's his first start for the Tigers. What a waste of talent.
I hope we get Ingram back
Eze scores for QPR against Millwall.
If Hull go down I think we’ve got a better chance of getting Ingram back than anyone else we’ve mentioned.

I'm not sure about this.
And I literally mean that. I'm not sure if he's better or not now.
There will be many an upgrade to Allsop at this level though, with all due respect.
If we're going to go after a former 'keeper then it should be Blackman.
As long as he's got rid of the errors in his game.
Quite sad looking at Ingram's appearance record since leaving here in Jan 2016.
4 1/2 seasons, and he's only played 44 games, with 1 of those being on loan for us.
That's a criminal lack of playing time.

And 20 of those were on loan at Northampton @Malone. He has only played 10 Championship games and conceded 19 goals in those games.

Yep, i just hope he's seriously improved his financials, as if he hasn't even done that it's not been a superb period.
Goals conceded alone is a pointless stat when assessing a 'keeper.
Blackman for me
Made in west London further refined in Buckinghamshire
Off to West Ham or Palace by the sounds of it
Aaron Chapman has been released by Peterborough. Always looked good to me.
Agreed, always looked an excellent keeper on the few times I saw him play.
Jesus. Surely he can do better than that?!
Last I heard Spurs were in for him, which would be a much better fit for his style of play.
