Burley is back from Maidenhead, where he doesn’t seem to have played much.
I was a bit peeved when he went out on loan as I thought he would be the breakthrough player of the season. I know he had a shoulder / arm injury but he seems to have barely got going this year.
Congratulations to Mark West who, today, completes 15 years as manager of Thame United, in his second spell. That is some achievement and includes taking Thame two levels up.
One of my all time favourites, so many treasured memories of him. That diving header at Wembley, those four goals in that 5-1 win against leaders Kettering, that momentous Trophy goal at Alty, and seeing him play for England.
Kashket seems to have disappeared off the scene. Wiki has him as playing just 9 games so far, with 1 goal.
There's even a thread on one of the Crewe forums asking where he is.

Hope all is well there.

We spent much of last season speculating similarly. Something’s not right. Halfway through his first season at Adams Park, I was convinced that we’d make at least half a million for him in the transfer market. Sad to see the decline of a great talent.

In breaking news: There is more to life than just football! I know, revelatory. Seems to be very happy on his Instagram account with his engagement to his long time girlfriend Miss Gold.
There is indeed more to life than football...but if you are a footballer by profession whether or not you are playing must be relatively important in your life.

Transfermarkt.co.uk have him down as 14 games played 1G 2A and 854 minutes played this season for Crewe in L1. Perhaps he may find his goal scoring form if Crewe end up in L2 next season.
I think he needs to play regularly and be given a bit of time and space to try and be in the right place and you know he'll be a nuisance and score goals. Hope he finds his mojo, great player for the right club at the right time.

It was either non-league or taking over the vacant slot as his dads diary secretary!

Love the Hemel badge, wonder what the connection is with Henry VIIIth? Was he a fan?
Bloody hell, you just get worse. No wonder you're so popular on here!
Uche on loan would be fun though wouldn't it.
Gaz would have some fun trying to work out our best lineup and formation then!
Muskwe came off the bench as Zimbabwe lost 2-1 to Malawi earlier
Max Ram scored for Hungerford in their 5-2 defeat at Eastbourne yesterday.
Chris Zebroski now turning out for Wantage Town in the Southern League Central Division.
Didn't think before I posted that, still our player of course!
Something I've done as well in the past, perhaps we can include our players out on loan, on this thread.
Max's goal is at 2:08.
Could set up a loan watch thread?

I'd forgotten all about him ?♂️
Wow, to think we thought coming home would be a decent solution and then he pops up there. Fresh start away from the media and assorted demons though.
