I feel for Palace - they could have pushed for the Europa League with Guehi, Eze, Olise and Wharton among their emerging stars. They were insanely good at the end of last season.
Problem is they need to have these release clauses in order to get players to sign them, because they're not a big club that generally competes for European places and they know the top talent will eventually want to move on. Their best bet of keeping them is that the players buy into Glasnerball and hope it can push them into the European spots.
He has been doing 1:1 training, I believe he recently had a session at Bristol City training ground. I always expected him to end up at a Stevenage or a Crawley. Sadly, I have a feeling he may be playing L2 football next season!
The best single game I’ve ever seen from a Wycombe player, and on the biggest stage of them all. He always seemed to play well against Oxford in general but that was truly special. My Oxford supporting mates agreed as well - they couldn’t believe a L1 centre half could be so impressive.

If tabloid rumours are to be believed, which frankly they really shouldn't be, then Eze is wanted in order to replace a Saudi-bound De Bruyne.
With Palace having seen Olise leave I can imagine they'll do whatever they can to retain Eze for the coming season.

Not all doom and gloom if they use these massive transfer fees to sign more youngsters with potential.

It seems like he has had a good preseason so far there.
This popped up in my Twitter feed for some weird reason. Max on the bench apparently

A late summer road trip taking in the early qualifying rounds of European competitions would be very appealing.

Today I learned Marko Borkovic, former Wycombe youth player, is currently in America playing college soccer with Ohio State Buckeyes: https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/marko-borkovic/11235
You're welcome, football world:

Not that Ainsworth’s man-management abilities need much more airing on here but it is further evidence of the working environment he created.

Ryan Sellers has joined Welwyn Garden City.
D’Mani Mellor on trial at AFC Fylde.
Lee Angol is Morecambe's latest singing. Lots of fans of his previous clubs praising his agents work.
Barry Richardson has left Hull.
Peter Sellers is featured on the Politics thread.
Noticed Forino hasn’t featured yet. I believe Bolton have played four pre-season games so far. Another injury you have to imagine.
After nine years at Sutton United, Craig Eastmond has joined Wealdstone. Scott Kashket has left Sutton and is currently unattached.
Dagenham & Redbridge have signed Josh Umerah on a one year deal, and Junior Morias on a six month loan from Notts County.
Anyone heard any whispers on whether Anthony Stewart has got himself a club?

Terrible shame for him. I’ll never forget how well he played against Oxford at Wembley.

Freddie Potts seems to be having a good preseason. Looking at the photo in the article, he was basically with the first team too.

Is that Freddie third from right in the front row?
No, third from left in the front row.
I thought he was second from the back in the third column
No no no you're all wrong
He's in the middle of the front row
Good to see our lords and masters taking that inconsequential but personally significant enquiry so seriously !!
