Lithuania remain in the Nations League C, Gibraltar relegated to League D where they'll face Liechtenstein and San Marino. So they'll probably bounce straight back up. Especially if they ditch Ribas and bring in a new manager willing to properly utilise the emerging talent at their disposal.
Ah the joys of live football. 70 mins of heavy rain, mud, water everywhere, ball not rolling. And then the rain turned to a full on blizzard - shadowy figures running on the far touchline, no idea where the ball was - 3-3 draw. Bloody brilliant. Iplayer can never replicate actually being there. Loved it
QPR now seem to be quickly pulling away from the relegation scrap.
When Gareth left, Rangers had 8 points from 14 games. Since then, the team have played 25 games and recorded 35 points from those matches. Why such a massive upturn in form?
For the third time in five games, Leverkusen scored twice in the last 20 minutes to preserve their unbeaten season. Goals in the 88th and 91st minutes to come from behind to beat Hoffenheim - Patrick Schick scored in stoppage time, as he has in all three of the games where the unbeaten run was about to fall.
13 point lead with 7 to go! Would take a monumental collapse for them not to win the title now. 22 years after they blew it (and lost in the cup and UCL finals).
Gareth started the season off saying the championship was scary and full of massive clubs. So it looks like GA took his “little wycombe” and underdog mentality to QPR and it spectacularly backfired.
According to QPR fans he also took a squad built for a passing style under Warburton/Beale and “butchered it with long ball”. But to be fair to Gareth that’s all he knew, and he probably shouldn’t have been hired in the first place.
Cifuentes then came in with a passing style, and instilled belief that they were not underdogs but as capable a team as many in a mediocre league. Fast forward and apparently they’d be 9th in the table under Cifuentes with the same squad. They were 6 points inside the relegation zone and looked dead and buried. Not a great look for Gareth and his career prospects is it?
Whoops. Not sure what happened there and was surprised with what I was writing as was sure it was a 7 or so a while back before this game changing weekend!

San Marino v St. Kitts & Nevis is also on TV. Unmissable.
On Viaplay only, not free to view?
Ah yes. I looked to see if they offered a free trial so I could watch the Euros play-off finals, but no :(
For anyone who wants some early afternoon football, Gibraltar are streaming their U21 qualifier against Georgia on YouTube:

And if it's like Thursday, it'll also be shown live on Twitter and Facebook.
Joey Barton plumbing new depths by going after Partick Thistle women's 17-year-old goalkeeper on Twitter. A rat.
And making fun of the Baltimore Bridge collapse: "allowing women to drive boats". Utter piece of filth.
Neither of those are even close to the worst thing he's tweeted in the last few days:
Jesus
There is money in outrage. GB News will be offering him a show before long.
He really is a complete & utter cnut
On the one hand, he's clearly mentally in a bad place. On the other hand, he's a knob.
Apologies for any offence caused to the Gasroom GB News/Joey Barton fan by my previous post
Georgia qualify for the Euros. Hopefully you know who will celebrate by buying us Mbappe.

Poor old Wales
Proper pitch invasion in Georgia, love it.
Louisianans furious

The manager they replaced GA with is very promising, and I also think the QPR squad were a bad fit for Gareth to begin with.
My QPR supporting work mate just says that the new manager is just better and plays better football
Fred just came on for Luton away to Tottenham.
Surprised me as I thought he'd been loaned off long term to a lower tier as he was well out of favour
So did I

That and Bayern losing at home makes it a huge day in their league.

Chesham are now 17 points clear of their nearest rivals who have 6 games left to play
Very much theirs to lose now you'd say
