Read that earlier. They're well in contention to qualify for the Champions League too. Seriously impressive the levels they maintain while drawing from such a small pool of players.
Someone who claims to be ITK reckons Bartolo to Wycombe is almost a done deal. Might explain why Noble refuses to play him at Wealdstone if he didn't like Bartolo accepting a trial offer. Here's his wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaiden_Bartolo
Well I'm typing from my phone and the forum doesn't seem to like that. The insert link button straight up doesn't respond to anything so you'll have to learn how to use copy and paste I'm afraid.
Just making a farce out of the premier league. Appeals will come and relegation won't be decided until after the season is over at this rate! If they introduce this 'luxury tax' idea instead of points deductions then the league really is a joke.
I think less likely to get it reduced on appeal this time, the panel have seen all the mitigation data and will be well aware that if they've not considered it then an appeal is more likely to be upheld.
The point (pun intended) about the new system, time wise, is specifically to ensure the process including appeals is completed in "the current season".
In that respect this year is an anomaly as the panels have had to consider 2 periods of data. But going forward the process is designed to result in points deductions being applied sooner, if the rules are breached.
Originally I had little sympathy, they know the rules and either overspent, actively tried to fudge things or both, but thems in charge can always be relied on to be vague then disproportionate to a level that makes the whole thing seem like bs.
Sort City out now. If you can't make 125 charges stick try the top 10 and go from there.
The only thing which I've seen as mitigation, which I hadn't picked up on before, was that Everton lost a major sponsorship deal due to the sanctions against Russia.
However, that's now history and they do know they can't keep spending and/or they need to sell players before 30th June to balance the books better.

We once played 5 games in 8 days.
Has an FA Youth cup game ever set records for police in attendance before?
Surely they'd only have to send the police academy
Brilliant @flymofrank.

A good read and 251 straight League games over 7 seasons is some achievement.
Yea excellent read. Thank you @wwfcblue

The winner of Manchester United v Coventry will win the FA Cup. Here's why:
Wycombe lost to Morecambe
Morecambe lost to Swansea
Swansea lost to Bournemouth
Bournemouth lost to Leicester
Leicester lost to Chelsea
Chelsea will lose to Man City
Man City will lose to...?
’they all count…’

'Right, throw the game but try to make it subtle, ok?'
Goodbye to the strangest looking stand in England (aside from the one in Oxford which looks like a car park, obviously):

Burnley have just conceded the sort of goal you only give away if you’re definitely getting relegated.
Also, Bayern are continuing to out-Spurs Spurs.
Poor Harry... Also means Leverkusen will win the title if they beat Bremen next weekend.
VAR *once again* showing itself not fit for purpose at the end of Wolves - West Ham.
I’m afraid black typeface links don’t work for me. Frustrating.
Carlisle officially relegated. Port Vale the big winners at the bottom of L1 today.
Try this.

Silly sending off too another mistake. Only way we where going to win today was by a stroke of luck.

Birmingham now in the relegation zone which would have been unthinkable earlier in the season. What a crazy managerial decision it was!
Everton deducted two points, which I think takes them down to 27. Ridiculous season.

No doubt they will appeal again and it will be reduced to one point.

If City are guilty I don't know if there is a punishment severe enough.
