You'll also have the opportunity to buy old O'Neill's stock.
I'm a little bit underwhelmed by the whole thing. I was hoping maybe they might have offered pre match entertainment for a game or maybe an evening bash. But I guess that would cost the club too much money. Should be happy they're doing anything I guess.
The party was certainly billed as having a bit more to it than this event, but then I guess we’re all used to the talk not quite matching the action by now?
I’m still expecting new signings and a big cake. But then I wake up most mornings expecting to have won the lottery. I suspect the latter is more likely.
You can have one journeyman midfielder that Matt's assistant manager "knows from years back" and a couple of premier league "starlets" who have talent but need to understand what "working hard" is, probably signed late August.
I suspect there is a Couhig quote somewhere from when it was floated that doesn't quite fit what is being suggested now, I also suspect that might not be the only one.
Haha, I'm not going! I heard Wet Dream in a coffee shop recently, which made me chuckle as it's lyrics are even more obviously filthy than Chaise Longue...
If I assume I am Mr Average of the fans who waived the refund. I have seen enough of the ground many times over the years. I can buy far better beer at better prices locally. The food is likely to be at a price that will shock me. Out of date kit on offer to really piss me off as I went and bought stuff 3 weeks ago as it was on offer! I might like a chat with a few players, David Wheeler in particular. I am almost talking myself out if going. So its a free party, but come and spend £5 on an average pint, £10 on a pie and £40 on an out of date t shirt. FFS Mr Couhig you have lost touch. Or am I missing something?
It's certainly hard to get overly excited about. The person I go with travels a bit further to get to games and has decided not to both coming as more details have been released. Might take my son in his place as he's not seen as much of the stadium but feels much more like an event to drop in on briefly than a "party".

What exactly were people expecting from this?
Millennium night in Central London fused with some sort of Roman times feast?
Ten new signings, Lionel Ritchie in the Woodlands and free chips isn’t too much to ask is it?
I’m willing to lie back on a chaise lounge whilst JJ feeds me grapes and Rob rubs soothing balm into my feet.

And you will like it.
Mummy Daddy look at me, I went to Bobby C's Covid Refund Party

So
though we are getting the party we were promised it is not the party we were promised.
At the very least RC should get behind the bar so that he can sell 'I Was There When Couhig Poured' shirts.
You won't want any cake when one of the QPR U-18s jumps out of it.
It almost feels Wendoverman satire for people to be moaning about what the party involves before they've even been.
Grr these new signings we've not made yet aren't what was promised!
And I got my muffin buttered too
Wet Leg 👌
Thanks Alan. Assume there will be quite a few people in attendence, so will we be given a timeslot for the tour etc?
Sorry, trying to get my son there as I may well be playing cricket and need to work it all out!
Excuse me?
Sorry, just excited for the party.
I was hoping you'd reply with 'WHAT' ;) Enjoy the party!

I know no more than was in the email of 20th June.
Hope you have confirmed your attendance and got your e-tickets.
So how many are expected to attend Alan? I assume the club knows the number of people who have managed to get their tickets?
Sorry Alan, I wrote that before your response.
Remind me not to stand in front of you in the queue.
I'd be more concerned to ensure I was standing uphill
Maybe a glass of 2 of cheap cava and a free buffet.

This is pretty much the reason I'm not bothering. Sad thing is the money I waived a the time would come in bloody handy now ! Lesson learnt.

Surely not another Bobby C overpromise?
