I would be surprised if Forino & Mehmeti go in January, but dont expect us to hold on them for next season.
I do suspect the likes of Horgan & Kaikai will be sold on to any willing buyer(s) along with possibly Wheeler.
As for the younger squad members I think we will see Al-Hamadi, Pendlebury, Leathers, Dickenson & Youngs shipped out on loans; especially as we are out of all the cup competitions.
I hope we look to the likes of Villa & Newcastle for a decent left sided defender, a box to box midfielder & a striker on loan
That might just work in our favour @frequentstander ? Letting go some of the expensive signings who are failing to make an impact on the starting line up could tighten team spirit and reforge that us against the world mentality that has served Gaz so well in seasons past?
There used to be a few Tilleys who played local football in and around the Wycombe area, I think they were out of Cressex. All decent players if memory serves.
Graham was on the books of Wycombe at one point, the youth team at least.
Graham Tilley played for Hithercroft as a junior, and later featured for the Wanderers youth team, a big centre back. Seem to disappear after his spell with the youth team.
Kevin Tilley no relation, was a right back for us, who spent our then centenary season with us in 1984/85, that saw us promoted to the Gola league.
He originally was at Wimbledon when they were elected to the Football league.
Another unusual thing about Kevin Tilley, was he had a foot problems and would often come into the blues club, after the game with one shoe on and the other residing in a slipper. He would stand out, with his unshaven look and Columbo flashers mack. Incidentally although not the quickest, I thought Tilley was pretty impressive for us during his season stay, and was sad to see him depart.

Catherine Wheel on a long-term contract
Wycombe wouldn't give Catherine Wheel the time of day
I expect both Chris Forino-Joseph and Anis Mehmeti to be sold for undisclosed fees in January.
I have a feeling we might see a couple of additional surprise departures too.
I expect them to be replaced by rather underwhelming signings in another clear indication that the owners are reducing the player wage bill.
A defensive left back, please!!!!
I really like that look of Ayoub Assal when we played AFCW last season. I'm sure a lot of other clubs do too though...
Any chance we could go back to using the loan market?
In the state we are currently in I think it would be a wise move to give us a boost.
Look what Ofoborh and Adeniran did for us when we needed it most.
Some good loans please
Catherine Wheel nailed on average.
I like the look of Roman Candle a really bright prospect.
If he goes to the World Cup he could suffer from burnout.
They do wax lyrical about him which gets on my wick.

Is Pendlebury still our player? Agree though out of cups so get them out on loan
Doh meant Pattenden
That’s a given as the money is running out or run out from our Championship run and the Playoffs.
Attendances have slightly gone down and if they are true to the sustainable model then I fully expect the wage bill to nearly half by July 2023
I’m expecting departures over new arrivals in January in general.

Bit upbeat for you isn't it?
Would have expected you saying the whole squad deserting us, and replacing them with the reserves at Aldershot FC.
Although I think that pretty much happened a few years ago!
Transfer window?
Probably loaning a whole host of the development gang out.
Potentially picking up a free agent, maybe Ibe, you know it's destined to happen one day.
This came out last week about Crawley striker James Tilley.
same publication broke the Vokes transfer.

Stockport are absolutely loaded, aren't they?

I wonder if he's part of that lineage

When did you start supporting Wycombe because your knowledge seems to go back so far?
Went to my first games in the mid 70's as a 5 or 6 year old.
What are Richard Logan and Dennis Oli up to these days?
Apparently we were keen in 2019 when he was at Brighton.
