But I must admit I do feel a bit sorry for Bishop in all this, he's local and by the sounds of it wanted to come here, he has been messed around as much as us. Not great man management from Man Utd
Stryjek seems solid enough - once suspended for chucking the ball at someone too, so it seems like he doesn't take any shit. Let's just hope his partying days really are behind him as he says!
if he learns to chuck it in the stand at any point when we have a lead he’ll do fine well for us. But mot worried about the parties though. I’m told that Revs is THE destination of choice for the EFL south of Watford Gap.
Was looking to see if we'd had any other Polish players and came across Przemysław Kazimierczak (also a GK). One-month loan from Bolton in 2007, but can't find out if he even made an appearance?
Possibly a JPT game? As I remember it came in the day before Bradford away due to a goalkeeping crisis at the same time when we brought in Frank Fielding. Can’t remember why there was a crisis though!
Both Mieczystra Krupa and Henrik Mikrut played in front of the record 15850 Crowd against St Albans in the Amateur Cup 1/4 final in 1950 and in the Semi at Brentford in front of 30,453. Another polish player scored for us that season with the name Wegryzk, I wonder if anyone has any info on him.

Behold a shiny new number one.
End this thread please @drcongo
No, it must be preserved for study by future generations.
We now have our two senior goalkeepers.....
Got to feel a little for Nathan Bishop. Of all the people messed around in this saga, he appears to have been messed around the most.
Is this Plan C?
Don’t worry, in about 3 days someone will start a “Max Stryjek signs” thread.
Maybe Bishop will still join, who knows.
Welcome Max

Sky reporting the signing as a performance related fee.

You can’t get past the Max
Can't believe we bottled it
Do I sense a subtle dig at a certain club? https://twitter.com/wwfcofficial/status/1560305837456883713
Henri Mikrut and and Krupa in the late 1940's early 50's. Mikrut scored a fair few goals in his 2 seasons at Loakes Park.
Interesting, will have to dig out the official history
Feeling much more confident about the season now. And would love to see tyla break through in a few years
Next step, a fit number 9!

You’re right about Bradford and I think the manager didn’t make his mind up which one to choose till the team sheet went in!

Harry Wegryzk according to Gasman

Yeah, Wiki only lists league appearances. Sounds like he made one appearance in the tinpot trophy.
