If Bishop or indeed any other first choice GK did sign, surely it would be better for Tyla to go out on loan to play somewhere and stake his claim for the jersey next season rather than just getting anal splinters from our bench? The lad currently reserve can do that job and then an emergency loanee come in if Injury causes Bishop to be defrocked?
I believe if he is going to sign but it won’t be until Man U get a new third string keeper. That would mean he could sign any time up to deadline day, or not at all the way Man U do business.
Could even be a January signing (to keep the thread going) 😂.
Taf on his latest YouTube video has added some post match analysis and talked about this goal and as can probably be expected, hasnt dug the keeper or anyone else out but rather focused on his movement tracking the centre forward which left the huge space for the centre mid to run into and score.
He did say that maybe subconsciously he thought the left back (Obita) was going to be there but had already said that with the expansive football we were trying to play while in possession, he has pushed up.
interesting detail from him. He probably needs to be careful with his analysis. We don’t need a Roy Keane situation in calling out teammates but he seems to have his head on ok!
He knows what he’s doing and probably would have cleared it with the club first. As you say - it was all focused on his own positioning and what he could have done better, I think the closest he got to criticising anyone else was talking about us giving the ball away cheaply for the second goal, but he didn’t name names and also I don’t think anyone would take a matter-of-fact comment like that personally.
Yeah, even for the first goal he said all 7 defenders were ball focused rather than picking people up, and even though he pointed to the danger said he probably didn’t communicate well enough which is generous.
his channel is growing in content I find. Moving away from just diet and that side of things, although it is an eye open just how much of their lives are dominated to being in peak condition the average/below average fan wouldn’t think about when they dismiss players as just training for a few hours and doing nothing else
Livingston Max Stryjek looks set to join Wycombe Wanderers, writes Scott Burns.
The English League One have been given permission to talk to the Polish keeper.
The 26-year-old is now travelling south for a medical with the Adams Park club.
Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has been searching for an experienced No. 1 to come in and fight it out with youngsters Tyler Dickinson and Josh Blunkell.
Stryjek is now set to depart Livi after a two year spell.
The Polish keeper arrived from Eastleigh and has been pretty much David Martindale’s No. 1.
Livi have been planning for Stryjek leaving this summer and moved to sign Shamal George from Colchester.
Stryjek has previously been at Sunderland and is known to be keen to return to England.

Link don’t work for me @ReturnToSenda.
Option to buy (sorry!)
Thanks @ReturnToSenda.
Damn you living on here, I was going to make a comedy one up to tease @micra.
We can dream!
Two hippies sit on a hillside in the forest, staring up at the night sky teeming with stars.
"Dude, do you ever look at up there at the great expanse and think...Nathan Bishop set to sign?"

Does he mention Nathan Bishop?
We ain’t getting Bishop, the way De Gea is performing he will soon be first choice

New goalkeeper for Tuesday?
which Tuesday?
It's incredibly frustrating to have to keep hearing the over-promise which eventually under-delivers.
You'd think Gaz and co would learn from their lesson.
Shrove Tuesday.
Hmm. Tough question there @Quartersman80. Pass.
Did this story actually come from a direct quote from the club? I thought it was a journo tweet
It came from Ian Baker.
Thought so. Thanks. Not really fair to hold the club to account over a journo tweet in my opinion.
I fear for this lad Bishop if he now does sign. The expectation level is now in warp drive. Can only guess at the reaction if he makes a mistake!
I've lost count of the number of mornings i've expected to wake up to new goalkeeper news now. We must be in double figures
Looks like we might have a new target...

looks to have good pedigree and good age
Sent off in his only game this season (not for timewasting)...

By all accounts it looks like that was his only game this season as they've been preparing for him to leave.
