Nice touch from Brockenhurst, email to Wanderers fans who attended with some kind words and a free ticket to a game this season, look to be a really nice club in a lovely village, could see a fair number of (presumably) volunteers doing rounds litter picking and generally very welcoming. Lovely part of the world, top notch pubs.
Lovely village indeed @StrongestTeam. Our daughter and family lived there for a few years when the grandchildren were very young. In those days it was a pleasure to drive there in the morning, spend the day there, and return to Wycombe around midnight, having left mrs micra there for short breaks. One standout memory was granddaughter Megan coming home from school (aged 4 or 5) and being asked what the school dinner/lunch was like. Her answer - “it was alright Grandad but there was no starter” - made me think at the time that they must be eating out far (sorry way) too much.
Saw this about De Barr only just coming back from the injury he sustained at Eastleigh. Suspect he'll be involved in the final two friendlies of summer that the "Wycombe XI" will play.
I am holidaying just along the coast from Worthing so decided to take in the game last night. Despite the scoreline it was an enjoyable evening. Worthing are a decent outfit and with our former captain El-Abd barking instructions at the back I had a feeling a tough assignment lay ahead. The ground is "proper" non league and the attendance was a healthy 700 plus. I must give a shout out to our drummer, who wouldn't know me from Adam, but from my vantage point seemed to be orchestrating the songs for and with the home supporters behind the goal in a very friendly manner. I do confess to sneaking out a few minutes before the final whistle but I'm glad I made the effort to go as it gave me the chance to see the development boys up close. As for performance - at least they got 90 minutes in their legs.
Cheers mate much appreciated of your kind words it was all good laugh with them they enjoyed them selves so did I can’t wait for Bolton away now glad u come down to watch them mate meant lot to me there wasn’t meany of us but still it was good evening take care mate up the Wycombe

I ref on a couple of leagues and also do county cup youth matches and the rules on who changes kit do differ league to league I think. I
Reminds me to look it up before the season starts, although it tends to be managed amicably.
reversible football shirts with a different colour each side are a great invention at youth level.
Ah, I think we had those back in my junior football days!
Ainswort said in an interview on Wanders TV those players will be training this week so i wouldn't worry too much.
Isn’t GA saying something positive about any of our players fitness a guarantee that they won’t be fit for at least 3 months?
I am proud of you son.
spot on...take what GA says with a pinch or salt
Kaikai was injuried in the Oxford City match. Twisted knee on the training pitches at Wycombe. Almost certain to miss first few games of the season
Col U call their away kit a clash kit. Different.

plenty of trialists for tonight match , surely it to late for that ? bet we have a GK trialist tonight
Hopefully a good outing for the fringe players looking to break into the team, and those coming back from long injuries.
Sounds like we’re getting hammered.
Worthing lead 4-1 at HT.
smashed 5-1 .., not great by the fringe players
