The minute you accept AWAY KIT, you’re accepting that kit is worn for all away matches, even when there isn’t a kit clash.
I always want to see Chelsea vs Man Utd as blue vs red for example. Unnecessary changing of kits just reminds you how clubs would prefer a few more coins in their coffers over protecting their traditions.
Turns out it used to be the home team that did the courtesy of using a changed shirt if there was a clash, this was after the short lived attempt to make all clubs register shirts of a different colour, no idea why that didn't stand....
Think we'll start with Grimmer JJ and Taff barring anything magnificent, possibly even Tylah, they have had the full pre season together and weeks of tactical work, might get a few of the usuals knickers in a twist but nothing to worry about
You could, that was kind of my point, but have no idea if he's even met Gaz, Dobbo or any of the players yet and is as far away as it's possible to be so wouldn't be 100% he starts in 6 days. Tylah good loud shouting and looked the part btw in the games he's played.

It’d be crackers.
I can't see a situation where we'd need to do that
Why ? If there's a reason we have to do it once, then surely we'd have to do it all the time ?
Hopefully now it would seem we have light blue shorts and socks as well as dark blue, we can mix and match to avoid any clashes
My apologies @ReturnToSenda .. I read your post incorrectly, I thought you'd said you could see, my bad.
The term AWAY KIT needs putting in the bin.
CHANGE KIT is the only acceptable term for a kit you have to wear if the home team’s kit clashes with yours.
It really doesn't matter
It really should matter.

It does
It's not that deep. But if we're to follow your logic, why is the term 'home kit' fine when it's often worn away?

Interesting, never knew that
Still the case in Rugby , the thought being that as the home team you’ll have a change kit readily a available if needed. Makes sense
Wheels being used at RWB at Southampton
1-0 JJ, fairly soft pen on Vokesy
Can we watch this online or are you there?
Nah, not online, I'm there, some updates on twitter, 1-1 now.
Anis on for JJ, Wheels an unlikely RB in a 4
2-1, Bullet GMac header from Wheels cross
3-1 Bullet Taf header from Obita corner
Having not seen either game, one observation I can make is that it looks like we may have a bit of an injury list as we head into the new season
No sign of McCarthy, Forino, Wing, KaiKai, Thompson or De Barr in either game, unless I missed something.
Thompson must still be in recovery from his injury last season. Wing and De Barr I don't think have played at all in pre-season.
But we're fine as long as we get that CB in the building before the big kick-off

We're not going to start the season with Dickinson in goal unless the Bishop deal hits an almighty snag (🤞)
And Grimmer-Taf-JJ is more than fine, but we still need that extra depth as soon as poss
*Or he's tired, gets a knock, covid, upsets someone or doesn't look the part in training.
Could say that for any player!

Oh I think it's clear they rate Tyla highly, but I expect we've got it all planned out for Bishop to be between the sticks v Burton
Almost certainly plan A.
I heard Ainsworth has no plan B
