That and we faced a lot of shots - ninth-most from open play (I don't have overall to hand). But save percentage is just a really bad stat without taking into account shot quality (which there is a metric for, but it's a slightly fiddly one to explain!).
Allsop really was hurt by his phlegmatic personality. I think Stocky is a little better, definitely as far as presence, but Rocky was at times outstanding. He deserves to be more of a legend for his part in 19/20, the saves against Oxford, and being the first ever Wycombe keeper to play in the Championship.
As @eric_plant noted, the Birmingham saves were incredible, and for me that sequence at the end of the 3-3 with Posh sums up what that team was about more than anything else.
The Gasroom is a platform for opinions - I don't get paid for it, nor do I give opinions as a paid profession. When you get shut down for using a chat room for what it is for then why would I not have a right to feel aggrieved? Likewise, if I was doing my job properly and getting stick for it, I would contest it.
If the stick was justified, I'm big enough to accept that I am not performing (especially if I'm getting paid for it).
If you pay that much attention to my character to have recorded that I am "sensitive", you will also note that I know when I am wrong/need to step back, and I will always act accordingly.
We’ll certainly miss Stocko but can understand his need to be closer to home. I have a funny feeling that Tyla Dickinson is going to be more involved next season (i.e., cup goalkeeper) while we get a season long loan keeper in for the league campaign. Then aim to be number 1 from 23/24
Late to the debate on the Stocko conversation. But I’m quite philosophical really. Gaz doesn’t tend to ever let us down with GK signings, he’s 36 and if he would rather play for another team in the same league for whatever his reasons are (I totally understand why with family and location etc BTW) then I’d rather not have him in our team.
Thanks for everything Stocko, you were great and it was a blast and will always have some terrific memories from the era you played in.
The King is dead, long live the new King and all that!
The difference between the Silurians and the Tories is, while both see people as a lower species to be treated like pets at best and slaves at worst, The Silurians had a very strict code of honour.

And he used dodgy shoelaces!

i would take as many people as it requires to shout at me to earn £5-10k/week
You say that, but you've been slightly sensitive at a couple of light comments on here before, so I'm not sure you would.

Fair play brother. Makes more sense with this embiggened explanation.
I thought Stocko was great and we will miss him. Big personality, great team player, exuded confidence at the back…great distribution.
I'm glad that the words came to me because I was clutching at straws with my argument! Either way, all is cool.
Liked purely for use of "embiggened"...
It’s a perfectly cromulent word.
Cromulent = acceptable
Corpulent = unacceptable
It's most annoying that so many posters are turning into micra like sesquipedalians!
Yea. I mean. Like. Wtf
Ooooo, he card read good.

Sesquipedalians? That's species of dinaosuar, am I correct?
In fairness he did apologise for Bathgate.
Humanoid dinosaurs first defeated by Jon Pertwee's Doctor in 1970.
A few survived. Aren't they the ones David Icke thinks are running things?
I actually wish they were. Hard to imagine they could do a worse job…
