I think QPR are going to get one more point, which means Cardiff and Reading need two each to send them down.
If QPR manage to get a win anywhere, it may be enough, but they don't look like they could beat Bognor Regis Care Home Over 90s Reserves right now, so I am not holding my breath.
@drcongo Earlier than that, I think. I still remember the look on Dobbo's face throughout the 'farewell interview' with Phil. If ever there was a picture of a man who didn't want a bar of any of it...
I felt that the Cambridge away game was a slight return to Gazball and less of the neat passing approach.
Who knows if that was just how we decided to set out our stall for this particular game, or whether MB is course-correcting somewhat based on results, and our seeming lack of cutting edge when we’ve focused on a more passing/possession-based style.
If QPR somehow hold on (I don't think they will) and Luton beat Reading, it is very much survival back on. Conversely, QPR could fall all the way into the relegation spots if Norwich turn it around. Talk about a big 45 coming up!
Definitely agree, I thought that myself last night as well. However, maybe the return of Vokes and how well Cambridge were pressing forced into longer balls.
QPR's pressing has been excellent and they were very close to making it 2-0 when a free kick ended up hitting the post. Gaz has picked up a yellow card in a fiesty contest!
QPR are just a Norwich goal away from the day going as badly as it possibly could. This after they were three spots above the relegation zone earlier in the match!

I think they will beat Norwich 1-0. You heard it here first!
I hope so, but with all but two of GA's QPR results so far I have been hopeful until the first opposition goal has gone in on about three minutes.
QPR fans deserve relegation, they are dreadful.
If fan bases were in a league system they might be going through the L2 trap door with Derby or MK at this rate.
Agreed. 👍
Agreed. If only there was a way for the fans to suck up some richly deserved woe, but Gaz go onto great success. Might have to be the next job.
QPR are relegated, Gaz takes the Port Vale job. They romp to promotion next season, losing only two games to unbeaten champions Wycombe Wanderers.
Beautiful scenes.
This may be a broad sweeping statement, he may be the only exception, but the ticket man at my station is very helpful and friendly.
He thinks Gareth should have waited until the Summer.
Ah the make believe world where lower league managers can call the shots of taking their dream job.
I wonder at what point it officially changes from dream job to nightmare job.
The second he walked in the door I think.

Spot on. I think that with Dobbo being the more analytical of the two, he did his homework and stared into the abyss in terror.
Maybe we can get Dobbo back when GA goes to Port Vale then?
QPR fans really whinging about the team selection for the game with Norwich. They really are a bunch of arses.
Which in-form committed players can he have omitted?
Seem to be doing ok .

1-0 up with 29% possession at HT. “I wouldn’t want to watch that every week”

yikes what a terrible start to the 2nd half!
Reading 1-0 up, QPR into the relegation zone
Carroll sent off so Reading are down to 10.

Really want Reading AND QPR down. I’m greedy me

Imagine having to root for Luton to get you out of trouble! Though to be fair, they should be able to get back into it against 10 man Reading.
