We’ve paid 2 players a lot of money to not play and I’m confident that one of those is still paid in part by us. A £3million deficit that won’t be wiped out by selling our crown jewel is not responsible. No steward of our club should jeopardise its future chasing dreams. Competitive and reckless are 2 different things
I'm sorry, I don't understand your comment "we've paid two players to not play". When and who?
If I think I know what you're trying to say, I see it as we've saved money on wages on players that are not playing. Keep them and we are wasting money. That's a responsible move.
We have also signed 2 players that we probably aren't paying, sold one for a 7 figure sum (plus wages saved and potential add ons), and removed Kaikai from our wage bill.
If you ask me, it's been a good.....and responsible.....window.
Horgan should not have been given a contract in the summer. And we are no doubt still paying part of his wage. Against a background of financial good governance Kaikai and Horgan were poor signings. Probably two of the most expensive player in the history of our club. That money has gone. And to fill that hole we have to sell.
I just struggle to be impressed when I hear Pete’s comments.
why am I a lunatic ? i am not rude or use offensive language , surely I can share my options, this is what these platforms are for ? don't agree with barring someone.just because you don't agree with them? freedom of speech surely? there are people on here who don't like me and call me names just for criticising some of the clubs antics ....
Its your constant negativity for me. All welcome to opinions of course, but you are so far off the majority most of the time that I assume you comment just to be annoying and to rile others up. You are always so downbeat about our club, so criticising, so moany. I wonder why you bother supporting?? Surely if the comments are how you feel, you will have better mental health calling it a day with wwfc??
been horrendous window , club really let the fans down , Stewart signing for MK dons just cheery on top....seems every team giving a go , we have given up on playoffs, the Oxford game will my last time down for some.time, club won't care short term but they will lose next generation of fans .
It was definitely a worthwhile interview, good work from the club. I noted that GA was on the fence as to whether there were still deals to be done at that point, but now it seems that whatever we may have been looking at didn’t come to pass.
A distant memory. I can only assume they gave up on that one nice and quickly. Probably around the same time he started thinking about selling the club.

Just seen Connor Wickham driving
down hillbottom road
After all the Wickham/Wycombe jokes, is it finally going to happen?

Possibly would be a decent option off bench with a bit more space than Vokes until end of season. Create little and large again with De Barr
Would be even better than the time Wolfgang Wolf managed Wolfsburg
Oh the irony of this comment from a poster who thinks he knows better than the manager and the owners of the club he ‘supports’.
this has got to be one of the worst transfer windows in recent history for us .....cheers Rob and Pete
Please someone ban the lunatic. It’s tiring
He's been banned before, but he keeps regenerating, like an illiterate Doctor Who.
Not sure if this has been covered in the other thread, but a lot of chat about Stewart going to Franchise
@drcongo please step in again... its time to remove this cock again
You can’t ban people just because they’re annoying. It might help if people stopped feeding the troll.

No more signings and Anthony Stewart signs for MK. What a day.

Just watched the Gareth and Pete interview. A lot of sense spoken. It was good to see Pete so enthused.
At least Stewart is on loan, and is not set to become permanent plastic (hopefully).
Yup, I guess this is the “no late deals” tweet. Oh well…

Remember when Couhig said we were going for automatic promotion?

No dressing it up that was an awful transfer window.
