  • Scowen has been awesome again today

  • Bayo winner ?

  • With a bicycle kick

  • Since when did JJ have a long throw?

Playing some cracking football today, just needs a goal

Just that last pass is missing. We look back to earlier in the season where you feel if we click we will destroy someone.

Wow Taffs got away with one there

Would need to see again, but looked like six and two threes at first glance

Either that or six of one half a dozen of the other.

  • A decent result though on the balance of play we did edge it and a win would have been good

  • Dominated against a team who defended more stoutly than most. Seven wins from seven to finish the season? I think we can.

  • Took three great saves from their keeper to deny us victory but a point from out most difficult away game of the remaining fixtures is a decent result.

  • Amazing that game like that can be between teams finishing the day 8th and 10th in L1. has the third tier ever been this strong?

  • Btw did anyone else know that the final day games kick off at 12:30? An FYI in any case!

  • That was a joy to watch. Cracking game of football.

Don’t rub it in Doc! There’s no cure for the frustration of paying to watch, having that payment acknowledged and then being blocked. If only I knew how to play the system!

Son-in-law to the rescue, I hope, before the next match (and I don’t mean Ascot United)!

  • Watched using Windscribe VPN from Sienne, Paris today. Just started the app and set location before logging onto Wanderers TV with usual account.
No clearing of cache or browser history needed nor did I need to go incognito!
However, I did use 4.3GB of data (much more than I expected so glad I'd added email to acquire a free 10GB allowance).

    From EFL regulations;

    34.3 Facilities for visiting supporters

34.3.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The League may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time.

I feel the club should ask PFC how they arrived at the allocation of less than 10% when it was obvious space existed for a greater number of away supporters

An apt game for the wet beach shirt - surely one of the worst we've ever had?

nah, I like it. It’s distinctive and simple (as in, not over-fussy) which for me is a good combination.

  • Thoroughly depressing to read about this. Flush them out of our fan base.

  • Decent result and performance. Looks like MK , unfortunately, are not far from securing a playoff place. We’re fighting for three spaces and I’m confident we can do it.

  • Rotherham fans must be a bit worried. Very average against us and lost 3-0 to Shrewsbury today.

  • I'm beginning to see a Rotherham v Wycombe play-off semi scenario. Time for them to pass on the baton of ultimate yo-yo club?

Please no. I could see that our club marketing masterminds might use such a game as an opportunity to change kit manufacturer to someone who claims to make a non-rippable shirt.

“Our fabrics remain intact even under the toughest tests!!!” (cue staged footage of Rotherham defenders pulling Vokes’ shirt every which way, Vokes then turns to camera with an intact garment, kisses the badge and gives a thumbs up)

  • Seemed absolutely bizarre. Can’t understand why they would limit the allocation when there was so much spare space

‘king depressing indeed. Our club has proudly been front and centre on this issue. Therefore they should know if the views of the club and the overwhelming majority of supporters align - then they should fuck off and support someone else.

  • Absolutely tonnes of free space today.

I feel a bit sheepish for asking some chap if he wouldn't mind moving out of my seat at 215 or so now :)

I had thought it was one of those rare specific seats jobs rhat are carnage if people don't stick to it.

    But erm..nothing of the sort.

When I use it on the laptop it used about 0.2gb.
The app sounds like a monster data user.

Yep. Better than the season it was 5.30pm I think in league 2.
That's a woeful kick off time.

  • Three clean sheets on the bounce is encouraging. The attacking play isn’t quite clicking at times - some balls across the face or dropping in the box with nobody on the end of them. And too many crosses that lead to nothing.

Having said that, we spurned a couple of good openings today and should have won. I thought Pompey were pretty poor. Gave the ball away a lot and lacked any real coherence in attack.

14 points from the final 7 is possible and would hopefully be enough for top 6.

  • The crossing is definitely frustrating, the service to Vokes is really poor.

I know it’s incredibly hard to get right (especially when you have opposition defenders unsportsmanlike enough to try and block such endeavours) but I’d hate to see the stats for the number of times that our crosses are in the intended target area.

  • Deliveries have to be pretty good, even with the likes of Bayo, Tafa and Vokes in there.

Wing should have let JJ take one of those late free kicks. He has been our specialist for many years for a reason.
