Watford's penalty claim was weaker than Ikpeazu's moments later. BBC Radio Watford co commentator with his tinted specs thought Watford were robbed and Ikpeazu dived.
What's the point of playing defensive midfielders. They are always defending on the edge of the area, inviting the opposition to run from there half to edge of the box without any challenge. We looks so much better when we press from up front instead of inviting pressure
Co-commentator has got better as the game has gone on, he’s calmed down a little and perhaps got used to his voice. Was slightly annoying to begin with but they are working nicely together now.
Would like to see Horgan wide and Wheeler through the middle, just to mix it up a little

I think you'll find he was right
There was clear contact on Ikpeazu when he went down in the area, though the camera angles on offer didn't show any clear contact on the Watford player that thought he'd get an automatic penalty if he threw himself down after beating JJ for pace. The pro Watford summariser had the reverse angle view of the incidents to what we have from the TV feed, so maybe that explains the discrepancy.
Never have the commentators on for midweek matches and after reading this thread I am feeling good with that decision.
Struggling against a tidy side so far. Only one down though

Because its a game with 2 teams from BBC 3 Counties patch, they put up commentators from both clubs for a balance.
Lucky! JJ getting badly burned a lot.
Sarr v JJ for pace is just a bit unkind
Pitch looks lovely. Like a freshly ironed-by your mum Subbuteo pitch
We need to play some football pronto.
Stands look very tidy.
You got history with him or something? Played for Flackwell Heath I think
I think you'll find he was right
He’s playing tonight too by the sound of things.
‘Closing doors down’. WTF?
And Chesham if it’s the same one.
Has someone coated the ball in Vaseline? We’re struggling with even the basics tonight.
Super irritating.
Fird, Free, Frow in etc.
Then raves about Cleverley when he's given a foul away!

Trust you weren’t his English teacher @HCblue.
Glenn Hoddle school of English
"It's one of them ones"
This time it was Ikapayjoo.

I certainly wasn’t his elocution teacher.
Yes he did you're right. Under Denis Greene I think?
Nice one !
I saw him play under George Borg.
Right game. Totally ripped apart for their goal. A few half chances just the usual lack of quality final 3rd
Needs a shake up at half-time, this. The shape isn’t working in attack or defence.
Mehmeti on for Gape please. We're sitting too deep and inviting pressure without threatening anything up the other end. Lucky it's just 1-0.
Sod it, I'm calling it, he's he worst co commentator this season, I'd rather have Pete !!
How can a co commentator actually say live on air 'I hope they lose tonight' and he's pronounced Ikpeazu's name about 4 different ways

Is he the Barry Fry follower, Barnet, Southend, Posh?
Ik pea ay zoo seems pretty straightforward but we’ve had six months to get used to it.
And we possibly have slightly more between the ears. Who knows.
