The youth also don't seem to have learned to just let things go @username. The more people moan about finding something not funny, the people who do find it funny, carry on doing it. Also I think the youth like to come on the Gasroom and ignite heated debates in the first place, no wonder things blow up.
At the risk of re-igniting the debate (arf!) I find it a little surprising that certain people will happily defend the actions of some Wycombe fans that is at best anti-social and at worst downright dangerous, but then suddenly get their knickers in a knot about another set of fans trading terrible puns on a message board.
@Username appears to be adding a match to gunpowder criticising a few mildly amusing puns. The more people who moan, the more fuel it adds to the flames.

The season's not over yet
There's been worse. Usually concerning the over 50s and tedious puns
That's flare enough @Malone
@Malone I think you smoke too soon
Just don't, tedious is the right word.
I've a burning desire to comment but any puns I can think of are flarely flame.
I'm sure the 1930's Chelsea defender Dickie Foss would have had a few things to say about flares - but that might have been too much Foss for us.
I'm so sorry.
Don;t be sorry @Jonny_King you just put it out of our misery!
Phosphorus. Love it. Flares up in wet weather.
Can't see me wearing flares again, bad enough in the 70's!
yawning scenes
That's a terrible pun.
Do you actually find these things funny when you get old? If so I might end it all in my 40s to save myself
Flarely funny, but not smoking
I find it flaming hilarious.
But I do hope it doesn't flare up on the next match day thread. It'd leave me burnt out.
This is rather dangerous in a wooden chat room
Don't worry @Username, I'm sure this will just burn itself out eventually.
Embarrassing. You wonder why the "youth" think the gasroom is just a load of sad old moaners?
Who's moaning?
But at least we know how to spell and punctuate. In fact some of us have quite a flare for grammar.

@Wendoverman Don't you mean "flare up" ?
Flare up, gasroom.

Each to their own I suppose.
@JohnnyAllAlone I avoided it so as not to inflame the situation

@Jonny_King luckily no-one pointed out the flare had a fat arse...
I'll have you know some of us on here are in their early 50s. I myself own a pair of trainers and an album by jessie j.
