Dayle Southwell hasn't had an extended run in the team yet. Gozie Ugwu did have, and only managed a couple of tap-ins. He was a hard worker for us, but found scoring difficult. Good for him that he's now scoring, albeit at a lower level. Don't think you can make a valid comparison until Dayle has played at least another dozen games. For my money, I think he's probably the better player.

Totally agree. The main reason Dayle has been out of action for two months is the fact that he had been struggling with a hernia problem during the half a dozen games that he did play in and the club decided when he got a knock against Stevenage that it would be an opportune time for him to have surgery.
Nice to see Steve Thompson getting a bit of pitch-side interview earlier in the Woking game. And Hakan Hayrettin mentioned a couple of times as part of the Millwall-Braintree match.
Gozie Ugwu named player of the month in National League fair play to him. I see also that Kortney Hause scored for Wolves today in a 4-4 draw which must have been a cracking match to watch.

The current talk of the FA cup game against Fleetwood reminds me of Aaron Amadi-Holloway. Anyone know how he's getting on in League One?hes doing ok thanx. Building his fitness !
I'm being really selfish by feeling relieved about that. I felt AAH was the one that got away but it looks like more of the same its his career getting away from him. Sad

Another 2 goals today for Gozie Ugwu, seems to have found his level at Woking.
So far I am not convinced that Southwell is an upgrade on Ugwu. Both work hard, but little end product at this level.

A hat trick for Gozie Ugwu who can't stop scoring for Woking.
And another brace from Scott Kashket who can't stop scoring for Wycombe!
Hope that doesn't have a reason to be a valid entry in the ex players thread any time soon Micra
Indeed, 2 (or even 3) year contract should be on the table.
Scott brown vs alex lynch yesterday!!! Good to see lynch playing at a decent level.
Lee Angol sent off for Peterborough

Saw Rob Green has been signed by Leeds... Not the same as flattered to deceive for us surely?!
Wasn't that Stewie Green ??

My money was on Dannie Bulman

Looking at their site Holloway seems to be a regular bench warmer.
If memory serves me right, wasn't that his gripe at WWFC/Gareth Ainsworth?
He as usual has spent most of his time injured and just getting back to full fitness
Not doing to bad thanx. Working on his fitness. to quick to judge. They do have a development team and he played in last nights cup game.

Really thought that was going to be Matt Spring
When's Gavin Grant up for parole? I really liked him when he signed. Then he got that cold.
He was given 25 years in 2010, so will be a while yet.
Very self-critical self-appraisal from Matt McClure in an interview this week: http://www.gethampshire.co.uk/sport/football/news/matt-mcclure-fa-trophy-performance-12312122
Sounds as though he is very low on confidence at the moment, which is never a good thing for a striker.
He certainly caught a hell of a cold. Does anyone really care whether it's been cured? waste of space.
