I think we've got about 15 of these threads on the board. I think I've worked out how to make this one sit at the top of the page, so this can now become the definitive thread.
Probably old news but former Wanderer Tom Williams is now at Slough. Sadly I don't think their new ground will be ready for the start of the season, would've been up for a friendly there.
Was his co-defendant from Wycombe originally? Another scouting failure if he was as he seemed to go to a pretty decent level.
Ashton on the left wing and Gavin Grant on the right. Some prison is going to have a pretty good season.
Interesting. Are you suggesting a more central role for Grant? It's crying out for a big man in the centre though. Duncan Ferguson must be kicking himself (or someone else) to have missed out on this golden era of attacking football at Slade
Good luck to Alex. Odd that they mentioned playing in the playoff semi but not that he also played in the final at Wembley. As a matter of record he played more than 4 times for Wycombe and the villa game was not the 4th round.

Ahhh, the new lad is not on the official site. Thats why my sums don't add up.
@mooneyman I don't think he has been wycomised yet? A slow learner that one!
Waddock always makes me laugh. Constantly signing old boys. Clearly when we were constantly signing his boys from a lower division that was worrying.
Worst scouting range since Sanchez? When everyone seemed to have to have had history at Wimbledon, Barnet or maybe one or two others.

Perhaps they could team up with Adam Johnson to form Her Majesty's most lethal attack.

Good luck Alex. You'd have been more than useful if you were still here.
http://www.balatownfc.co.uk/2016/08/11/lakesiders-make-double-signing/ all the best Alex.,
I would love for him to still be at the club but I hope he does a fantastic job in the WPL!
The other Ex WW player is doing a fantastic job, scoring in L1!
