I think we are safe from the gut punch of GA rocking up at the empty bowl. I think most new owners with serious money get ideas in their head about amazing tippy tap football. I think it will be a salt of the earth club with some lower league realism that next hires him. That's not meant as a dig - he'll be a much better shout than much of the current carousel. He'd have Port Vale and Cambridge higher than they are now for a start.
Sido Jombati scored for Chippenham in their Wiltshire derby against Salisbury on Saturday. Unfortunately he plays for Salisbury. They still won, though.
I know it happens.... especially when age and injuries come into play.... but it always hits me hard to see well loved wwfc players who we had so much respect and admiration for.... playing so far down the pyramid.
I guess 50% of it is its just the way it is.... and in recent times 50% is just how far we have come... the legends we behold with so much respect like Sido & Kashket wouldn't get close to even being on the bench now.

Lol
Charles Dunne has re-signed with St Mirren on a short-term deal.
Brilliant.
Fantastic news. I hope their new owners have Joey Barton's phone number to hand.
Hadn’t realized Carlisle have won just once in all competitions this season. Good luck Willo!
GA for MK Dons.
I thought that as soon as I saw it - surely not? But they have money and could kick on.
Maybe a new destination for Mr Couhig too.
From the Ding to the Dons
Didn't Winkleman just sell them?
Haven't kept too close an eye on them i'll be honest.
You suspect Mr C will take the Reading mess as time to properly retire anyway, Revert to his previous statement!
Plastic rock n roll

What the hell are Vale gonna do with Darren Moore on his seemingly lifetime contract? Haha
Stuart Beavon, now 40, scored the opener in the 4-0 win over Blyth Spartans.

Kashket made his debut for Hornchurch in National South yesterday, hopefully can go a full season injury free.
Angelo Balanta also plays for Hornchurch!
From scoring our first goal in the Championship to now playing at a club that currently sits below Chesham in the league table. My word.

Not the first person to go undercover in Salisbury
Such a shame to see some of our talented players from recent times suffer due to injuries. Gapey is the same - another waste of talent.
Alex Samuel scored a late goal for Ross County to start their comeback from 1-3 to 3-3.

Kashket would in his (sadly brief) prime.
Kashket and Gape would surely both be at a higher level if it wasn’t for injuries. It’s very sad.
Chris Forino-Joseph not having his best game for Bolton Wanderers at Arsenal this evening.
I wonder when he’ll start to regret making the move.
and his evening ends early after being substituted with a hamstring injury.
Looks like he has now come off injured
*whistles
"Farino" - according to a BBC article headline - they do spell it correctly in the actual article though.
Hardly the first team to take a cup beating at a Prem ground.
