Find a wycombe legend now in the lower leagues and show our support and appreciation with a group sponsorship if available?
Especially if the sponsorship has any little perks. I love the idea of a group of gasroomers showing up on the last day of the season to watch the match and get a group photo with the player or something!!
Totally agree with both of the previous comments. So where does Gaz go from here? I'm sure we all want him to do well and find a suitable manager's job asap.
Cambridge maybe? Despite their recent statement backing the manager they can't for too much longer. And Swindon seem to be in a right old mess, but they only appointed Mark Kennedy in May.
It's a tough one - GA probably wants to parlay his Championship experience with two different clubs into as good of a job as possible (hence the Malaga and Hearts attempts), but he is probably now fighting the perception that he can only do it in the lower leagues. He may have to go for the next good L1 job, but in a division that is now awash with money, it becomes even tougher.
I can’t see Cambridge pushing for Ainsworth any time soon. They have a fairly good xGD and xP this season, albeit mostly generated from losing positions so it’s not the fairest use of ‘expected’ data. I don’t think they are even in the worst three teams I’ve seen this season. I thought Crawley were the worst side. Rovers second worst. Then it’s a bit of a toss up between Northampton and Cambridge. All of those are in the bottom seven though! I think Cambridge will give the incumbent more time. I do think Gaz is best placed to try going abroad next.

Ok so it all seems simple enough and it’s £85 given we are part way through the season.
What do we want as the sponsor name? Shall we keep it simple and have ‘the Gasroom’?
WWFC Gasroom???
Just "The Gasroom" surely?
Happy to chuck you a tenner Chris, think it's a great idea
👍️from me. A worthy player who deserved better from his career.
Me, too.
I’ll set up a separate thread (and a poll)
Makes great sense, just in case the gasroom alone isn't as famous as we all think!
The Gasroom is The Gasroom. Let people go and find it.
WWFC Gasroom is as bad as that chant that refers to us as Wycombe FC. Sounds wrong
This would just appear on their website not shirt itself of course. Looks like they have a lot of space so I would ask them for
"Score another goal, Scotty - Gasroom (WWFC)"
Anything other than "The Gasroom" dilutes the brand
Elites of The Gasroom has a nice ring to it 😅
‘The Gasroom - an online Wycombe Wanderers community.’
just like anything other than, "The Football League". Grrrrr.
"Hen-pecked keyboard warriors"
Wycombe Chairboys
I hope this discussion hasn't allowed another party to sponsor the shirt
Happy to partake!
Same
Right, who's gunna sort it?
Let me know who I'm sending my money to.
I guess we need some sort of poll to confirm who wants in and willing to contribute 1st
I love this idea.
Maybe we could make it a seasonal "thing"?

I've just seen the new thread....
@Chris has set up a link to make a donation now on a dedicated thread.
Any funds over from the £85 to sponsor Kashkets away shirt will be donated to the WWFC Women's team as superbly suggested by @eric_plant
Gaz has missed out on the Hearts job...https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c148y75zx7zo
Obviously their "analytics" was looking for a manager with experience of failing at Blackpool and QPR rather than just QPR.
Still back the human mind over computer on such matters to be honest.
Critchley is a baffling appointment. No major success, and not even half of the charisma of GA.

He's not been out of work for a year yet, but it feels like many years now as time moves very quickly.
He'll probably be relaxed but you feel he needs something and soon.
Wonder how Dobbo is doing. He'll have had a payoff but not the wages or payoff level of Gaz
