On the assumption that you are double jesting, I will simply say (for the benefit of anyone not seeing it that way) that Xavier Simmondsohn is an Englishman born in Hammerschmidt and, as someone remarked a while ago, he bears a passing resemblance to Aaron Morley (or Morely if you prefer).
There is some confusion about his name. His name is variously spelled "Shreeve" and "Shreeves" in different sources, as he mentions in an interview for the 2008 book "The Boys From White Hart Lane" by Martin Cloake and Adam Powley. The Tottenham Hotspur website still gives the spelling "Shreeves". He says "My real name is Shreeve, but over the years I've had so many people getting it wrong that in the end I thought, 'why not – it's Shreeves.' I've looked in the club handbooks and I see that one year my name is spelt with an 's' at the end, the next it is 'Shreeve'.
Xavier would have loved Louis Tussauds in Great Yarmouth that was known as the worst waxworks in the world. It closed in 2014 but gave us such wonders as.....
The only stumble really was when Phil mentioned their keeper making a few decent saves and Doddy, instead of taking the opportunity to praise our strikers, ignored it and reiterated his point about their threat.
Media training with Matt Cecil Wednesday 10.00am on the players day off.
FWIW, I largely agree with you. He was treated shitty. The new owners did want him out (as was always likely with new owners of football teams all across the land). Yes, MB deserved more. Yes he should still be manager based on the job he was doing.
But what good is bringing up the same thing every time we lose or draw actually do? If your intent is to sow further dissent and negativity on a forum that has zero affect on actual decision making areas in the club, good job.
The only choice we really have now is to either support the club/team(and therefore leadership) or not.
If it’s the latter, that’s fine. But what is the point in dragging up the same points every time with people that want to do the former, other than to cause arguments?
It was brought up because someone again made stupid, snide digs at Matt Bloomfield. Matt Bloomfield deserves so much better given how much he gave to our football club.

Hot take of the day
They were probably still in shock.
It's because hugging is a sign of weakness

That’s probably my best work for today so I’m shutting shop.
By quite a few. The strangest one has to be Jock McCallum (30s-50s), whose name was always spelt McCullum by the club.
Didn’t Peter Shreeve just give up and accept his name was actually Shreeves or Shreeve or whatever?
Or is it McCallam.... The mystery deepens
Jock McCallam - Wycombe Wanderers legend
Allsopp another recent one
No! Looks like a typo by Gasman, in the headline, because Dave Finch's profile of Jock is reproduced, with the correct spelling.
From his Wiki page:

Alex Samuel was always called Samuels by some people
It’s mad isn’t it? Reminds me of Hartlepools United
Chris Eubanks is another
They were called Hartlepools before, weren't they? When Clough was manager?
And of course there was Alex Jakubiquack whose name was often misspelt as Alex Jakubiak
Cluff
When Xavier Simmondsohn was asked what attracted him to a club like Wycombe he responded…
”I’ve always wanted to visit Madame Tussauds”

I thought Doddsy spoke very well in his post-match yesterday, but I'm probably missing some glaring underlying weakness in his character or something... https://www.wwfc.com/news/2025/february/15/mikes-crawley-reaction/
I never quite understand some of the fans that hang on every word in these things.
It's a simple equation for me...perform well / win = don't care what the soundbites are.
He doesn't *look* comfortable in interviews, but bloody hell, he's far from alone among managers / head coaches in that.
I think you might have a point about the pitch - there were 55 throws, which is a LOT.
there’s a time and a place for hugging. That is a hugging situation

This is all Iask for . I could not have said better myself.

Because it’s a football discussion forum and it’s a relevant topic for discussion
But haven’t we done it to death. It’s time to move on.

It's a football forum where people come together and exchange views and opinions as they see fit.
This is a privilege afforded to us by Doctor Congo and those other clever people.
Nothing tells me not to move on than someone telling me to do so.
The date may change but the truth doesn't unless, of course, you are a revisionist.
