Swansea rumoured to be after Kone, "one of several clubs" ... on X. Not sure how reliable the source is, but let's be honest, these rumours are bound to be happening now.
Every club in the top two divisions will be interested in him. But they will need considerably more than £1.5 million. And this time I don’t think Wycombe will sell unless they get silly money for him.
the way we are playing, everyone in our squad below the age of about 26 will have interest from somewhere else. who knows who will go and who will stay?
Lot's of outgoing rumours, so I'll chip in with a possible incoming. Dan Crowley from Notts County. Not from a footballing source and the information is from the County/player side of things rather than Wycombe. No idea if it'll happen, will wait and see.
I've been keeping an eye on the lad since I heard this and he certainly looks a player. Probably an ideal replacement for Humphreys when he leaves in the summer.
It’s not a rumour but, as I said recently on here, I would not be surprised if we sign Gideon Kodua on a permanent basis.
Re Crowley, I know it would be good to have a full set of Dans - even though it might end up with Matt Bloomfield shouting ’Dan’ repeatedly like Alan Partridge in that car park scene - but I see nothing in his CV to suggest that, at 27, he has Championship potential.
Against that, 18 goals in 60 appearances from midfield is impressive, albeit that is in League Two. And, in the light of @Midlander’s comment, he has the right personal qualities for our club.
Dan Crowley was extremely highly rated in the Arsenal setup at one point. He’s regularly talked about as a top player on various podcasts. Would certainly be a plausible signing given our data approach
I feel extremely confident that Kone stays in January, unless someone comes in with a crazy offer (£3-5 million+). Promotion is more valuable to the club than that transfer fee, plus if we do go up, his value will double overnight.
For some reason, @frequentstander, your post won’t copy down but I just wanted to comment that Crowley’s spell at Arsenal as a youth was nearly ten years ago. His career since then has been very much in the journeyman category (or at least one of them ! - there has been a fair bit of discussion recently about the definition.)
Yeah it definitely looks that way. A bit bizarre. Only 280-300 appearances and still only 27 could suggest he’s got mileage left in him. I seem to recall him having some major injuries though.

Nunez is one of those players who needs to try and deliberately miss, as he would probably score more that way!
He has improved a fair bit. I quite like him, although I do enjoy the "shit Andy Carroll" chant.

I thought they were after Low.
Tbh I'm just as worried about Low ! He's young, solid, in and around the Welsh squad

Sorry. When he leaves in the summer?!
I have met Dan Crowley previously and he is a properly decent guy. Culturally he would fit in perfectly at Wycombe.
Played for Willem II so should be fine here.
Well hopefully the end of the season, he could be recalled before then of course, but let's hope not!
Another club with a better mascot than us
Also unusual in that they play in stripes of three colours

Watch this space.
Internationally, I see that at youth level Dan Crowley played alternately three times for England and the Republic of Ireland.

I prefer Cologne's live mascot. We could stable it at Harlington when not needed.
Ah yes, Hennes, who I assume is also the one shagging the cathedral on their badge

We already have a GOAT in Josh Scowen.

He already has his own song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3LvhdFEOqs
Is he related to Aleister Crowley?
Oh ha, just clicked Tom's link.
