They play in the Greater London League Premier Divison, 7th tier, and play at Barn Elms, SW13. They won 4-2 at Cray Valley PM in the previous round. The Chairgirls beat Comets 1-0 away in the FAC 1QR in 2020-21.

They have had an excellent start with seven points from nine, and two big cup wins, 13-1 v Hythe & Dibden in the Southampton Senior Cup, and a 6-0 FA Cup win against AFC Varsity last Sunday. It looks like the match will be played on 3G.
Tilehurst were promoted from Thames Valley Counties Division 1 as champions last season, with an impressive 58 points out of 60. They have also started with seven points from nine and, after an FA Cup 1QR win, lost 12-1 at tier 6 Brentford in the 2QR on Sunday.

With leaders Ascot United and Oxford City winning today, the Chairgirls are five points behind these two, after four games, and cannot afford to to drop many more points in an 18 game season. Badshot were promoted from Division 1S in 2023 but struggled last season, with six points (two wins) and finished bottom. Relegation was avoided after the number of teams was increased this season. So far they have gained one point from their four games, against Selsey on the opening day. However, they only lost 1-0 at Ascot last week. In the FA Cup they lost 8-2 at Fleet Town. Last season the Chairgirls won both matches, 1-0 at home and 7-0 away, in their final game.
Kidlington have six points from three games, and lost 4-1 to the Chairgirls at Burnham only four weeks ago, with Shannon Read scoring all four.
Goffs Oak, from Cheshunt, have had a very difficult introduction to the JPL Cup, with a 16-0 loss to Cambridge United and a 15-0 defeat to Oxford United. In between, the match at Cambridge City has no result published. If Goffs Oak did pull out of that game then, credit to them for continuing in the competition.
Went to watch the development side at Kidlington today. It was just the antidote to all the 💰💰💰 bullshit of FIFA, UEFA, Premier League etc. that sometimes becomes a little overwhelming.
There is just something special about seeing a team in the quarters. It would absolutely blow the minds of the lads who founded the club back in 1887 to know that 137 years later, on a dreary afternoon in Oxfordshire, there would be a group of young women wearing the shirts and representing Wycombe Wanderers.
It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm of the players and the joy they got from playing, and especially, scoring.
Shannon Read broke the deadlock inside the opening five minutes but Kidlington levelled before taking the lead following an utterly absurdly awarded free-kick, the referee claiming a Wycombe hand was in an unnatural position despite having had the ball smashed at her from point-blank range.
The referee was completely off his rocker to be honest.
Sophie Harvey levelled before half-time with a sweet strike to make it 2-2. Second half was less open and there were some crunching tackles which were well worthy of a ‘get in there’.
Shannon Read looked to have won it with a neat near-post finish but Kidlington snatched a point with a header from a corner.
I was really impressed with Milanna Cadore, who played as a left-sided centre-back. She was really dynamic, front-footed, looked comfortable on the ball, read the game well and made some brave blocks, which ultimately led to her being forced off through injury.
The top of the table game in the Premier saw Ascot United beat Oxford City 4-1 (HT 4-0). Woodley are just one point below them after winning 3-0 at Selsey. The Firsts are still five points from the top and now have a two week break from the league, with the FA Cup and Berks & Bucks Senior Cup coming up.

Caversham finished bottom of Division 1N last season but were reprieved from relegation. They lost 8-2 to the U23s and scratched in the other game. So far this season, Caversham have lost their three league games, and in the FA Cup, and have yet to score a goal.
The Firsts will attempting to reach the First Round of the the FA Cup, for the first time since entering the competition in 2018. They have failed at the final hurdle in the past four seasons. They have met Comets before, in the 1QR in 2020, when a Rae Roberts 7th minute goal gave the Chairgirls a 1-0 away win at Barnes. Then Comets were a tier 6 side, now they are tier 7, in the Greater London Premier, but London divisions are generally a higher standard then their equivalent in the Southern Regional. This season they have 7 points from 4 games, and have won their last three games, 3-2 at Luton Town Reserves last week. They won 4-2 away at tier 7 Cray Wanderers in the previous round of the FA Cup. It will be a keenly contested match on Sunday, £4000 to the winners, £1000 to the losers. I hope to be there.

I received an email from the club this morning inviting me to join the players (men) in making a donation to the women’s team.
The men’s donation was said to be £450 and I assume that was the total for the squad as a whole rather than individual donations!

Misplaced pass resulted in a one on one with the keeper. Chairgirls pressing forward, couple of half chances. Match kicked off 10 minutes late.
16' 1-1, far post cross from Watkins on the right, Kassem's header blocked but her second header went in. The goal has been coming.
