The semi was special because we played so well in keeping Liverpool at bay for 78 minutes and we had the whole country behind us.
If it was played at Wembley another 10-15000 Wycombe fans would have been able to watch it live. I am sure we would have sold 30000 plus tickets, whereas we sold out at Villa Park with 19401 tickets being available.
Brendan Rodgers being targeted by ‘For Women Scotland’ for calling media interviewer Jane Lewis a ‘good girl’ even though Brendan and Jane Lewis are good friends and Ms Lewis said she didn’t take offence.
What a load of old cobblers and pretty much sums up our silly current day society!!!
The ongoing Truro City home game fiasco continues.
A combination of a bad former owner and the Council proving unable to raise finance to build a “stadium for Cornwall” means not so long ago they played home games 80 miles up the road in Torquay (now teetering on the edge of extinction)
for the last couple of seasons they have been playing home games 50 miles up the road at Plymouth Parkway but overuse and a wet winter has destroyed that pitch.
so they announced plans to play the rest of this seasons games at Taunton (also teetering on the edge of extinction). But their pitch is also in a dreadful state so they haven’t yet been able to actually play a game there yet.
this Saturday Truro are at home to their new landlords Taunton. The game has been switched to National League North side Gloucester - 200 miles from home.
Next season they are due to return to a scaled down stadium in Truro but they haven’t even begun to lay the pitch yet so that isn’t going to happen. Maybe Warnock will help out his fellow Cornishmen and invite them to play home games in Aberdeen….
sido Jombati’s Salisbury travel three hours to Plymouth Parkway after an early pitch inspection only to find that the match referee disagrees and has called off the game. Parkway now have nine games in hand with 18 games to play by end of April.
Yes, and I've seen an interview with Bath manager Jerry Gill saying the referee abandoned it, according to an FA protocol, but Slough said Gill didn't want to continue the match. It will be interesting to see what the league decide.
Anyone else think it's rather weird that Forest have been allowed to appoint a 'referee analyst'? And not only that - it's bloody Mark Clattenburg. Who does that role even benefit?
Everyone has access to the rule book, so as you say-what does it achieve? Comes across as an owner not really in the football know throwing money at something out of frustration, but who knows what's really going on behind the scenes there.

The semi final was much more special at Villa Park than it would have been at Wembley.

Agreed. This sort of nonsense just hijacks dealing with actual issues in society.
Not our society...social media thickos and a media hungry for clicks.

Doesn't anyone 'read' the Mail and Express?
I predict an immediate ten points deducted just after survival by one point is confirmed.
I am actually surprised Derby are not used as a precedent with HRMC, considering how much they were let off.
I hope HMRC are good to us in 2026 when we tell them 'The money was just resting in Lomtadze's account'.
Actually, he could probably just buy them off.

Indeed!

It's doing them a lot of good so far.
Surely they have about 20,000referee analysts every week? I know Wycombe have quite a few.
Arsenal are going to score as many goals as they want here.
