The most lucrative event at Wembley is the NFL and I expect long event days for music are also large revenue generators. I'm sure they could happily sacrifice the Cup Semi for the opportunity to add a couple more summer concerts
ironically Bradford’s game at Barrow was called off an hour before kick off. From the pictures Holker Street looks in much better shape than Valley Parade was.
I had no idea this cup tie was on tonight and I’d like to consider myself still an avid fan of the game, especially the FA Cup. Relegated to a ghost slot.
It is odd how we have missed out due on a number of things to then have rules changed which would have been beneficial to us.
1) 1995 - Miss out on division 2 play offs due to restructuring of Premier league/Division 1.
2) 2001 - FA Cup semi-final at Villa Park, subsequently all semi-finals moved to Wembley.
3) 2021 - Miss out on Championship survival due to Derby delaying resubmitting their revised accounts and thus avoiding a points penalty in 2020-2021 season.

Luckily the Bristol Street Motors Trophy maintains it’s integrity keeping semis away from Wembley.

Taylor Swift is doing eight dates there this year - they'll do alright out of that!
True, and once the London Jaguars are a thing, there will be even more NFL played!
Throw in a few days worth of wrestling too
The RFU have decided not to pursue the idea of selling Twickenham and moving to Wembley, so that's no longer going to happen.
Wigan 0-1 Cheltenham at HT, with the Robins scoring on their only shot and 31% possession.
Wigan need to do us a favour here.
1-1 now, come on Wigan!

Posh did us a favour by winning 1-0 at Cambridge.
7 of the 9 games in the Champo currently have a score of 2-1, and the other two are a goal away.
An extraordinary result in Scottish League Two. Clyde, adrift at the bottom, came from behind to win 6-1 at runaway leaders Stenhousemuir.
Win Tuesday and I think our chances of staying up literally double. It’s a huge game and 6 pointer for both teams
If could always be worse, behold Lincoln’s opener against Port Vale

RIP Stan Bowles, the great entertainer.
I'm worried it might all have got a bit too much for a Reading fan at Beaconsfield station
ITV 4 on a Monday night for the best tie of the round. Deary me
oh dear Coventry up by 2 after 14 minutes - could be a drubbing

Just wait till next year when they are all on QVC at 6:30am, or whatever the deal is they just signed.
According to a Reading fan on another site i use they are about to be deducted 2 points but he didn't say why.

Now confirmed, 2 points with a further 2 suspended.
Late payments to HMRC in October & November.
Did Derby County ever pay their dues to HMRC, I wonder.
You probably paid more than they did!
I guess if you give Everton four points you’ve got to find them from somewhere
The other 2 will probably be donated by Notts Forest!
