Charlton have appointed Nathan Jones. Fair play to him for being willing to go to a small struggling league one side ;). The owners funding, long term contract and being 'manager' rather than 'head coach' probably helped though.
If he survives long enough, he does indeed invariably play friendlies between this years club and non league clubs (southern league and below) around the Plymouth area. Big financial benefit for them. Think this time though only planned to be to end of season.
Port Vale have sacked their manager 4 days after the transfer window slammed shut! Wonder if they’ll see if Gaz fancies it until the end of the season.
At least Peterborough and Orient are beating Exeter and Port Vale.
Aside from the current bottom three, Exeter is really the club I have my eye on to stay above. I have a feeling Reading are going to achieve safety either way.
How many abandoned games have we had? I can remember a frozen game against Farnborough when their GK suffered a serious injury and I believe may have been a game against one of the Bristol teams…. Must have been more though.
wasn’t there a game abandoned during a penalty shoot out?

Wow Luton score 4 again (unfortunately for the hatters so did their opponents, Newcastle)
They're doing amazingly well - I think they'll stay up. Sheffield United, on the other hand, appear to have given up on their season.
It's nice when Wycombe win because we get to hear your thoughts about other football such as Southampton, Luton and Sheffield United
The new Aberdeen manager is Neil Warnock!
Doesn't he live in Devon and traditionally hold pre season training/tours down there?
Incredibly that would be Warnock's 20th managerial post, albeit that includes 2 spells each at QPR, Huddersfield and Palace.

just over the border in Cornwall actually.

Two ridiculous comedy errors for goals in the Arsenal v Liverpool game today.
The first one meaning Liverpool scored without a shot on target up to half time.
But the second one an absolutely down the Rye level mess.
Strange game, but I think it was superbly refereed.
@DevC .. do you actually know where ? Just curious as I have friends who live just over the border in Cornwall near Plymouth
Boris Becker and Dick Van Dyke would have done better
Just outside Stoke Climsland I believe
Surely the players available at Chelsea are better than his Spurs squad...does this mean Poch is actually not a good manager?
"Let's win it for Klopp" off to a flier, then.
Port Vale have sacked their manager 4 days after the transfer window slammed shut! Wonder if they’ll see if Gaz fancies it until the end of the season.
A lot of posters on the Port Vale forum want him, though to be fair, others say he needs too much time to implement his style.
I suspect GA will wait till the summer rather than sign up for another late season stress-a-thon.
You had one job, Stevenage. Sigh.
Reading not had a single shot on target!
At least Peterborough and Orient are beating Exeter and Port Vale.

Cambridge v Bolton was abandoned after nine minutes. Yikes!
How does the pitch go from not waterlogged to waterlogged in nine minutes? That's impressive.
You had one job, Peterborough! Red card and two own goals means Exeter lead.
Also, what are the odds of Peterborough losing three on the bounce?
Talk about a horrible evening for us - Reading and Exeter both winning through a combined three own goals!

This is the type of insight the top pundits get paid the big bucks for:
