I just can't get it out of my head how poor Exeter were, and don't forget they haven't won since September !! But they beat us ! That's how poor we were ffs
Agreed , fair comment, I’m thinking more about this season where Ten Haag’s team have gone backwards. Will Rob and Pete be brave and do the right thing?
No, please! Just read Close Quarters to see how awful of a character Cowley has. Hard pass. I know we need a talented manager, but surely a likable one is not out of the question?
Rob Couhig surprises us all and “relieves MB of his duties”. Whoever replaced him would inherit a squad that includes a substantial number of “his” players. A squad whose morale couldn’t be much lower.
Added to that, there are no doubt players in the pipeline who have been lined up to join in a few weeks time and members of the current squad lined up to depart.
I think RC will cling to the thought that, with so many defeats having been by a single goal, the January changes just might be for the better.
I really don’t know (as Hilda Ogden might have said).
I'd be perfectly happy with Danny Cowley and I'm not relying on one author's opinion to decide what my own opinion is.
Firstly I'd be on the phone to Gareth and Dobbo, and have them back in the building before Friday if they want it. If not, then I'd be on the phone to the Cowleys.
Yes, I like stats. You don't - as you make abundantly clear at every given opportunity. And your repeated jumping on that to launch little personal digs is getting pretty tiresome.
It'd be unthinkable for the Couhigs to think Bloomy worthy of an extension a few weeks ago, then it be the end of the road almost straight after wouldn't it?
We probably have to stay as we are don't we. He's not even had a full year yet and while it's been a near disaster from day 1, it's probably just about too early I think.
We have to be having a few "catch up" conversations with Gareth though. See how his music is going, stay in touch sort of thing.
Make sure he doesn't jump into another job while we're still wondering what to do.
Gawd luckily unlike when Gareth was appalling and everyone wanted him out...at least this time we've got the money to pay off the manager snd his team and bring in another better manager and team who can spend in January and get us promoted.
Haven't we?
If not it's JJ and Keogh to the end of the season.

The problem with that is, he's clearly got an eye on getting out himself!
I'm sorry to say that the writing was on the wall for Matt after the morecambe game.
It's now being written with a permanent marker.
Anyone got Danny Cowley number?
i now have a terrible image in my mind. Thank you, it has removed the ones from that game.
He might not want it, but we'd be mad not to at least give Gaz a call.
Just hang around at Adams Park. Danny Cowley seems to be spending lots of his time there already!
Their lack of wins is truly worrying as you'd not have guessed that on how we let them take the game on.
Sorry Matt Bloomfield. Time to go. Regards John.
And statistically he still has a much higher win percentage at United than Sir Alex did!
This seems the absolutely clear option when we get to that point of no return. Which I accept is here for many.
Don't think that stat is true anymore after recent defeats.
But even if it was, if shows going off stats alone is madness.
Apparently Blooms didn't go over to the fans at FT. Was he getting pelted with abuse? He's got to go, but that's uncalled for.

If he did go over and applaud then people would assume he was saying goodbye. He can't really win in this scenario.
Hypothetical speculation.

There's not a chance that he would take the job.

I would like Michael duff, dobbo or Nathan Jones don't want ainsworth he's had his time
If we get relegated, which looks increasingly likely under this management team, it will be far more financially damaging than any pay off.
I have seen bad things re Danny Cowley with my own eyes. I would be furious if he was appointed.
Can't see it either, but heard he's been in for 3 jobs already since leaving Birmingham and offered none.
No, please not the Reverend.

As much as we all love Dobbo, maybe going for a coach with next to no management experience is something we don't want to do again so quickly?
Yeah maybe your right didn't think that threw did i
