If we play the same pedestrian losing shite against Orient and they don’t sack him, I’m not sure I’ll be able to motivate myself to attend many games at all in 2024.
Yeah how can you be so invested in this? I hate seeing our club legend struggle to keep his job, especially knowing he will have to return to being ‘just a coach’ after we sack him
Got to say, I’m a big believer in giving managers a long time - it usually works out well - but for the first time this season I’m erring towards Blooms out. That line up, in that formation, with those instructions, against a shit Exeter side is surely the death rattle of Blooms’ management career. If he told the players to play like that then he’s clueless, if he didn’t and they did it anyway then he hasn’t got the man management skills needed.
I think you're right about RC not being likely to eat humble pie about the extended contract thing, but I'm not really seeing how MB is going to change this round right now, our squad is perfectly good enough to compete at this level.
Given that no stats are provided to quantify it, I suspect not. But it's the most important thing about being a football fan.
Regardless of the truth of the statement, no Wycombe fan on earth needed anyone saying "justice" when we've just missed a last minute penalty in the middle of a terrible run
So you either can't understand emotion or you're deliberately trying to wind people up.
Our position of 17th isn't a fair reflection - Wigan/Reading wouldn't be below us without the deductions and will soon leapfrog us leaving us in a relegation scrap.
Our form is woeful and a managerial change would allow a new face to come in to some winnable games vs Orient, Bristol and Burton.
I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think Blooms is the man to turn this around. This was a very winnable game and we’re going to get the same post match interview with him staring at the floor telling us it’s not good enough.
I disagree regarding binning half the players, the problem is the manager. The players are not suited to the "system" which Matt refuses to change. He also seems unable to motivate the players partly because of putting square pegs in round holes. Finally how you can play the two slowest players in the league in Keogh and JJ together is beyond me.
Don’t normally post any comments and not usually in favour of seeing managers sacked , but enough is enough. Not sure what game Bloomfield is watching , but it’s dire…the team has no identity and he just keeps tinkering. Sorry to say but he’s run out of ideas . Reminds me of Manchester United and Ten Haag.
The difference is Ten Hag actually won a trophy and had it working for a spell. We've not had it working with Bloomfield for more than the occasional game.

Am I the only one who thinks scoring that penalty would have papered over the cracks of a terrible performance and a terrible run of form?
Matt’s interviews have been delusional during this run. He needs to own the problems of his own creation and either deal with them or accept his fate.
With the transfer window about to open I would not miss at least half of this squad and that is terrible as they are better than that.
39 points from 37 league games. Not sure of the exact win %.

That contract renewal a few weeks ago surely makes a decision even less likely though.
No you're not, was thinking the same
Of course it would have done
Most of the gasroom were delighted to get a pen and cursing the subsequent miss. You were busy saying not a pen and justice done in missing :-)
Never a penalty and means Bloomfield can't hide behind the officials, as he often does.
Needs to be put out of his misery immediately, this is no good for anyone to watch a club legend manage this mess and allow it to unfold like this.

It was - we deserved nothing, and had Leahy scored then I think it would have allowed RC to duck out of making the big decision he needs to make.
Not tonight, thanks. Not in the mood.
A poor game with an undeserved goal it'd have been for sure.
I can't imagine an owner who thought a contract extension was valid a mere few weeks ago will be making any big call any time soon.
That’s definitely put me off.
It would of course have done.
But the truth is we need any points we can get as we're sinking like a stone.
I think almost everyone on the gasroom is recognising that now.
Old school gag, but i grant that a big LOL to cheer the mood a lil bit.

With Bloomfield I have no hope.
only 5 points above the relegation places we need a change of manager NOW.

Sorry Matt we know this.

You're reading far too much into a two-word forum comment. Go and have a drink.
If Couhig won't make the decision, then soon some people would be saying "Couhig Out" as well as "Bloomfield Out".

That's the point, I'm not reading anything into it. I'm reacting emotionally
We were miles ahead of Reading, and now it's just 5 points, as is the gap to 4th bottom. This is certainly getting worrying.
To think we thought our biggest problem was having a dull end of season midtable run in post the FA cup defeat.
Rob didn't understand what 'I guarantee I'll take us out of this league' meant when he extended the contract
As I said though, no stats to quantify emotions so always going to be tough for you
