A shame JJ's final season with us is turning out to be a disaster for him. Decent length injury, barely playing and the atmosphere probably sinking like anything. He'll know how blessed he was for the majority of his time here though.
I have been Bloomfield In this whole time, feeling like he has had several things go against him....but I have no defence left, sadly. The bright spot in sacking him would be that any relegation would not actually fall on him, as we are not in those spots yet.
Mustnadmit I was struggling to remember whic character said it. Of course it was Mavis but every time I do my fabled impersonation of Mavis I say “I really don’t know.” I’m 100% sure of that, if not more.
They will be loyal and stubborn in their decision of extending his deal a few weeks ago.
But the worry is they don't have any experience of running a club when things are going south. Their only managerial appointment was forced and they did go the easy route.
How about getting Dobbo back to work alongside Blooms, or even have Dobbo as head coach and Blooms going back to a coaching role for now. Let’s face it Bloomfields managerial career will be over if he gets the tin tack from Wycombe.
I think we've waited to see how things pan out long enough now. Can't see a way forward for Blooms after today. Really sad but today we reached rock bottom.
This just isn't realistic though, is it? It's like saying to Blooms - "you aren't good enough, but we're trying to be nice enough not to sack you."
Bloomfield's managerial career may well be over if he gets the sack from Wycombe. Sadly, that's not a problem that we should be taking into consideration.
It's becoming obvious, to me at least, that Matt is unable to set the team up and motivate them to beat the opposition. It's all well and good keep referring to the stats when, in reality, we are getting to the stage where there is only 1 which matters. Did we score more goals than the opposition?
As someone commented earlier it's like watching your 20yr old dog stumble around the garden; blinded, lost and in pain. You know he has to be put out of his misery, but it's so very hard to have to make that decision.
Sadly it feels like Rob, for all his hard nosed business acumen, may be so sentimental that he can't pluck up the courage to do what is needed.
I would be absolutely delighted if Matt can some how pull of a miracle in the next few games and get us a couple of victories, but I'm not sure I can honestly see it happening.
I fear that the combination of the above two may mean we are in serious trouble come the end of January - if we aren't already there - and any chance to manoeuvre has disappeared.
I hope I'm not watching league 2 football next year, but I'm starting to prepare myself for the possibility.

Matt the player is a club legend.
As a manager leg end and out of his depth.
Sorry but "mutual consent" would suit everyone.

I assume Trevor is too busy wanking to post on here tonight
He told you all that everything was rubbish and doomed. He told you!
Ok, so he also told us it every season for years too...but he did tell you this season...
This feels like the end of the road doesn’t it? Not just the poor result, but the incomprehensible selection and tactics.
It’s terribly sad.
@micra Mavis Riley used to say 'I don't rightly know.' If your old Corrie knowledge is so.poor how can I take your football opinions seriously? 😉
Now I'm worried.
The biggest pro Bloomfield guy in gasroom history, usually positive, always calm.
If you're Bloomfield out, this is big.

Fair enough, but don't say you haven't been warned. It is not just the book by any stretch.
Poor old Matt. Must have seemed like a dream come true at the time...and he was at Col U remember.
We all desperately wanted him to succeed didn’t we? And he’s still a bigger credit to our club than some of our social media experts.
I still don’t think RC will sack him.
You really can’t 😂

I've just seen on Facebook that apparently the only manager we've had with a worse win percentage is Tony Adams, Blooms is 2nd
should be sacked now
Yep, not any time soon.

Adams did have us competing at the top of league 2 for a while though didn't he?
But I suppose he had pretty much written off any idea of staying up the season before, as early as October!

Would wait to see how the Orient and Bristol Rovers games pan out. But if there's no improvement by January 1 ...
Post match interview has dropped.
'Margins' are the problem.
You can get notebooks without them

You do the former, what role does the current assistant manager then have? If things pick up, it'll look like it's all Dobbo's input.
The relegate him to coach under someone else option simply doesn't work either.
37 league games, 10 wins
17 losses
How many draws?

And only once in that time have we gone more than three games without losing

So 40 points from 37 games, which would be just under 50 points across a full season.
45 points was relegated last season.
Best not do the pro rata over the last 12 games though!
11 points from our last 15 games if you're extending it further...
