I see Joey Barton is making himself popular again...if Celebrity has not been finally put out of it's misery by Beery Nigel, I think I've found the first campmate who might need to show 'the real me' for next year.
The casting conversations must be interesting: we probably need a sportsman, someone from a band, politician, maybe an American film star if the money is there, someone from a soap would be good, oh and we need the biggest foghorn bellend you can find, let's put Talksport on and see who is free.
Though TV companies smelling the coffee before it becomes obvious is rare, this series must be the death knell. Unpopular politicos know they can ask top dollar for controversy and then complain they have been 'cancelled' if it goes badly, which it won't do as ITV need it not to and no doubt warn other contestants to wind it in, it is clear the 'celebs' or their agents have worked out how long they have to do before they can leave (medical reasons/missing the kids I did not miss for the first week in the luxury hotel) and still get their full wage.
(also not to suggest vote rigging...but if I had paid someone £1.5 million, they would not be going home after the first week...)
Also...describing the unprovoked racist attack which led to the murder of Anthony Walker by his brother and cousin...
'My brother lost 17 years of his life from 17,' Barton said. 'Because his mate who was his cousin at the time thought it would be a fantastic idea when they were having a f***ing scrap to pull an ice axe out, and swing it into somebody, and he's stuck it into somebody's head.'
If you listen to the rest of what he said he says how it was such a disaster for so many families and pretty senseless.
The full podcast is an interesting listen. We all have our negative idea of Barton but listening to tales of how some relative stormdd into his house having robbed a post office and how his nan tried to keep him on the straight and narrow in a sink estate where fighting was the way most ran their affairs...certainly not the easy upbringing a lot of us had.
I know he had it rough, Malone, I read his book, but in this instance they weren't just some scallies having a scrap and someone just happened to accidentally (silly sausage) stick an ice pick in someone's head...it was a targeted racist attack. I think avoiding that diminishes it somehow. I am sure he will clear it all up on Piers Morgan.

Barnsley fielded an ineligible player, FGR fielded a loan player without the parent clubs permission.
Thereby making him ineligible?
Apparently. Seems like a distinction without a difference to me.

Sorry to the two Joey Barton fans/People who think women should keep their snouts out of the male game that I may have offended.
Saw a news link the other day where Ant and Dec have said they need to stop getting politicians on there, so Nige could be the last for a while
Anyway... what's Joey been up to today then ?
'Women shouldn’t be talking with any kind of authority in the men’s game. Come on. Let’s be serious.

LX1 grew up in the small Derbyshire village of Clowne, which had a lasting effect on him..
The Spurs keeper has done a madness. I think Max started a trend.

Wonder what his arrest to trophy ratio is.
