If you look at size, status and league position he might think he can do better, who knows, probably just as much about there ambition, his autonomy and their future plans.
Even more impressive considering that team is largely what they had in League One last season. McKenna will be a Prem manager within a couple of years, whether with Ipswich or someone else.
It's a bit like a who's who of people who have ripped us in L1 and clearly a very decent budget for L1, playing really good football and carrying momentum but that far above some huge clubs is very impressive
The thing with Gaz is that he and his team come as a package. If it isn’t the right fit for Dobbo too, I doubt GA would the job. Football management doesn’t hand out many long service awards so I suspect that if this job isn’t right for him / them, the next one won’t be too far away.
It's a really fine line between no rush and sensible to take stock, with remembering it's a competitive fast moving world with only a certain amount of vacancies and from them only a certain amount that are realistic and would suit Gaz.
Forest Green’s FA Cup match against Blackpool has been postponed due to an active FA investigation against FGR. Their fans are understandably pissed off, with hotels and train tickets paid for etc. They are suggesting it’s likely to be because their emergency loan GK has been there for two months now and their first choice keeper is reportedly not actually injured!

How good are Ipswich btw, they've done a great job in the last couple of years.

True. From the recent interview he does not sound in any rush, either. It's always better to take a team over in the summer, to my mind.
Probably mostly because it's failing managers, and hence teams in trouble, who get the sack during a season?
For sure!
Probably not in too much of rush because he’s got a pile of money by being sacked!!!
More scope to make an impact in the summer, transfer window open, contracts expiring, pre-season training etc.

Kevin Betsy the favourite for the Cambridge job.

Some people would dislike a dolphin giving blood to orphaned hedgehogs.
People still look at 'next manager' markets? Blimey
I had a quick look on their forum, and they don't seem that keen on Betsy, and more of them would prefer Gareth
Management records hardly comparable.

Der Stryjekfumble
Can't say I've ever heard of anything like this before. Surely you charge them or let em get on and sort it out later.
And who is going to compensate Blackpool for their financial loss?
