And AAH2.0 scores. Looking a really good player. Stand out player on the pitch. As he plays as the lone striker and is utilised as a hold up player and a striker who runs onto through balls I have to wonder what went wrong. He has all the attributes we have missed for couple of seasons.
There is a huge difference of course. But AAH2.0 only seems intent on running at the goal and shooting, regardless of the opposition. Why that was seen as something we didn't need is a mystery to me. Dale Taylor seems to want to check back the whole time and his stats show. Seeing the showreel of AAH2.0 when he joined us he hasn't changed. So why was he never given the chance? He is so young. I'm starting to believe that this will be the biggest one that got away. Especially with our shortcomings in the kicking the ball in or even around the goal department.
I suspect, although don’t have material evidence, that AAH2 (much like AAH1 as it happens) couldn't / wouldn't take direction, as mentioned above he has his game and he does it better than anyone here thought he could. We kept TJ who does ‘more’ for the team but isn’t ever going to be an out and out goal getter.
He was another very highly rated youngster but Swansea and Liverpool also struggled to get anything useful out of him, maybe he wasn't a great trainer but arguably we just didn't play him enough to find out what he could do. Ironically might still end up one of the best bits of business we've ever done.
I know people might disagree with the idea considering how we are playing at present, and it may be he did not get a fair crack of the whip, but I think League One defences are better than League Two defences.

You've won a lifetime supply of free food. But it's all from Adams Park kiosks. Nah, yer alright.

AAH2 with a brace, we could have done with him today.
Can only hope that he keeps it up into January and what some of us have heard about his sell on fee is correct
Kevin Betsy is now jointly holding the reins at Cambridge following the departure of Bonner.
Russell Martin's Southampton leading Anis Mehmeti's Bristol City and up to 4th as it stands
Not sure if anyone mentioned, but Scott Brown also co-caretaker at Rotherham.
David Stockdale starts for York City against Wigan Athletic, on BBC2 now.
Paul Smyth scores for QPR. (Assisted by Ilias Chair who should really play for us.)
AAH2.0 on ITV4 now if you are so inclined.
Makes the first and scores the second.

And another goal. Well at least his price will be going up.
Yeah yeah it’s lower league opposition well so were Morecambe and our collective strike force never muddied the gloves of their ‘keeper.
To be fair there is quite a difference between Morecambe and Ramsgate.
in hindsight Gareth’s decision to let him go was a mistake. It happens
By the way, for those who thought Uche was the answer (and especially those twatters who gave social media abuse when Sadlier joined):
Port Vale career so far:
10 appearances
0 goals
Cue him scoring a hat-trick against us…
What's are out strikers' stats over the last 10 our of interest?
We have strikers?

Coaches, unsurprisingly, like trainable players.

Big clubs do stupid things to bring in a “20 goal a season striker”. Wouldn’t be overly surprised if he went for nearly £2m.
Would be slightly unusual for our all-time record transfer to be from a sell-on fee for a player that left for nothing, wouldn’t it.

Think they've turned down a fairly huge fee already haven't they, so could well be.
Better for us than nothing though.
Hopefully he'll be sold though and not be like Kilman at Wolves whom they were rating at 35-40m with Maidenhead looking at 7-8m if he went for that!
How big a sell on do you think we have? 70-80%? Or do you think he'll got for multiple mill?
We may need a thread VAR review of what people said about him at the time versus "always knowing" he was amazing now.
Pretty sure they have already turned down 2 million for him ? Only rumours I know, but the ones I've heard are we have about 30-40 % sell on
I’ve heard similar rumours, from friends who support AFC Wimbledon too. Although the figure mentioned to me was actually slightly higher.
So if he did go for £2m, we might actually break our transfer record.
However £2m for a League Two player does seem a bit unlikely to me but who knows what level of transfer madness might set in.
