The scoreboard kinda gave it away! Were no fans allowed or did you just get in early?
My Southend supporting colleague says they will be playing tonight with a bench of one...and are up before the beak for not paying their lekky bill.
All 11 players played at the weekend as well. Time for a Marvel multi-millionaire to step in...
Thankfully HRMC let Derby off a huge amount of tax, so they will definitely be lenient on Southend having set that precedent. Right...er, right?
Some similarities perhaps but not sure there's a real actual cashed up buyer in the wings for them to get as far as blagging limited punishment.
Serious question for those with rules knowledge....are you allowed to take the field with just ten players?
You can't continue a game with fewer than 7. So you can start with as few as 7, which has no doubt happened in many pub league games.
Rinse and repeat. "Flip" the EFL.
Ainswatch: QPR losing
Not good for Russell Martin either, silly goal conceded after aimlessly wandering out of defence and being robbed
Peterborough 0-0 Cheltenham
Cheltenham not scored in the League for 8.5 games and are down to 10 tonight after having Olayinka sent off after 5 minutes.
Massively missing Alfie May
Port Vale currently top having been hammered 7-0 by Barnsley in the first League game of the season
Amazing that they could have a record of 5 wins and 1 loss, and a goal difference of -2
City had 22 shots to Red Star's 1 in the first half. Red Star are winning 1-0.
Currently, in the hypothetical situation of everyone playing and winning their games in hand, we would be 5th.
Bristol City cruising to a 4-1 win, bring on 5 subs, none of them Mehmeti. Loan him back, you football criminals!
Exeter suffer biggest ever home defeat at the hands of a very handy Reading side.
Readings biggest win in 122 years.
What was the score?
9-0
And it was only 2-0 at half-time...
Exeter Twitter feed blames it on young side but Reading team was about 15 months younger 🤣
Holy cow.
Gaz will snap him up.
Not if they want any money for him
Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel scores a 95th-minute equaliser against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League https://twitter.com/footballontnt/status/1704240225336062022
I’m sure a loan could be arranged in Jan to cover his wages until May.
🚨Goalkeeper scores klaxon🚨 Lazio’s Ivan Provedel becomes only the second keeper to score an open play goal in CL history.
I was going to say it was from a corner, but I think it does count as open play as it was the second phase. Madness! But even madder that he's not even the only one to do it.
And it was quite literally the last touch of the game. Incredible.
Cracking header.
Second time he’s scored with the last touch of the game to gain his team a point.
Has a goalkeeper ever scored against us? Or for us, for that matter...
