Their recruitment is spot-on - and I'm reliably informed the chairman treats his staff like royalty. Just sounds like a really good environment all round.
I know what you mean but he has one already, perfect job for any manager really, you can tell chairman, staff, players, fans and possibly most importantly for them scouting network buy in 100% to what they are trying to do, I'm sure he's added to what they did under Potter and it's not easy to go somewhere that has exceeded all expectations and just keep that going but it's such a good gig for the right person. He'll want to go higher and the grand old clubs of serie A as well as the Prem will be sniffing round but as much as Potter knew he had to take the Chelsea job he will have regrets. Just do your research and demand the right setup if you do go.
If he gets Brighton in the champions league and they give him money to spend and a new contract he wouldn't need to go anywhere else with added pressure. He's already in a top job.
I'd say only the very top few PL clubs and the BIG, big guns of Europe would be a threat - I'm not sure Serie A has all they much appeal even to an Italian manager these days.
Brighton have carved out an amazing niche, to where young players will take them seriously, knowing they can start and be developed as a stepping stone to the top table.
That Man Utd player celebrating his consolation goal like it was a cup final winner in the drubbing by Brighton was the funniest thing I've seen in ages.
It's a young player who has spent years desperate for a chance in the first team, scoring a goal.
It's pretty damn joyless criticising him for it.
Every week we see bitter fans moaning at the celebrations of other teams, but if you can't celebrate a goal of personal, if not team significance it's a pretty miserable position to be in.
Can't agree on this occasion, it's a team game and being 3-0 down at home against a much smaller club should be thoroughly embarrassing, the fact it isn't even really surprising tells you all you need to know about the two clubs at the moment.
So if we had a youngster come through the ranks, had some hard times but got on the pitch and had the cheek of showing some joy at scoring, you'd be all "well the team's losing, it's meaningless, get that smile off your face?"
Also, he's not exactly a youth player who's just come through the ranks. He was a £5m to £10m signing who's been out loan to Birmingham and scored there, so not even his first senior goal.
I have always quite liked Man United (relatively) among the big clubs, but since the Nathan Bishop saga, every terrible decision they make personnel wise is like the latest installment of a hilarious weekly sitcom.
It is truly a mess there...martinet manager who seems to be 'losing the dressing room' poor quality signings (Character-wise if nothing else) and experienced players marginalised. The Prem is a certainly a strange old place at the moment, City aside, how often have we had the bottom clubs in the Prem struggling to even register a point at this stage of the season?

And De Zerbi is just a bloody good coach - will get a top, top job sooner or later

The Italian national team job would be a different matter, but they've only just sorted themselves out after Mancini resigned out of nowhere!

Yeah, that's pretty much how they sell themselves
In comparison maybe but when Milan or Juventus come calling that will certainly raise some interest.
90 mins before KO at a derby game.
Where am I tonight
Poznan - someone vs Lech (I recognise the away badge)
Stadium has three sides. Oxford??
Warta Poznan v Lech Poznan.
Being played at Lechs municipal stadium as Warta play 25 miles away in a 5k stadium.
With the game switched it’s been easier to get tickets.
Definitely 4 sides!
What do Lech Poznan have in common with Crewe?
Railways?
They're not in Warsaw
Phil Alexander has left Bristol City.
He probably asked why that bell end Pearson wasn't playing the great prospect he provided him with via his insider trading.
Correct both clubs have same nickname.

If we were billionaires and getting drubbed by Solihull Moors, yeah.
Exactly.
