Decent thatch. A little bit Kevin Durham. All I need to hear is that he was at a Premier League club since he was 9 but let get last year and has been playing in the 13th tier and I’m sold.
Number 40 promising? From some of the spaced out photos and feature interviews with people who only played 20 mins last season I thought there might only be half a dozen of them there.
He is another scion of the legendary Trialist family, is my guess. They are absolute pre-season bosses, though they always seem to have trouble getting actually signed up.
I think we are wasting time and money with all of this "signing new players" malarkey. We should instead be investing in research towards cloning several more David Wheelers.
However I have noticed in addition to Wheeler’s protective boot - day 1 video he and Vokes upsides in the gym on the bikes. Day 1 and 2 video neither out running on the grass. 😱
On a paranoid note, Big Chris has not been on the grass in either of the training day videos. So either he has yet another knock (along with Vokes and Wheels) or.....?
there is a quote from MB in his latest interview (WTV subscription-only right now) that "we're very close on a couple of things", but you'd kind of hope for that at a minimum really.
That said with the gazump-tastic world of the transfer market, I understand why the need to be so cagey, but it's still frustrating, obviously.
This, really, in terms of prospects/likely % of wage to be covered.
I guess obviously Bloomfield has good Ipswich connections, and was coaching their kids for a while relatively recently, but I imagine this kind of deal goes beyond just having some mates at the club.
True - you could see the whole group in the background at times, though. That being said, I would go with Occam's Razor - he has a knock and is just doing light fitness work indoors till he is ready.

Am I missing something obvious, who is this number 40?
FINALLY

Thought this was rubbish ?
Looks a bit like The Player...
Come on @thecatwwfc... where is your source with some juicy info for us all?

obviously a little knowledge can be dangerous!!

Stupid Twitter with their out of date tweets displayed:
Phil Catchpole on Twitter: "BREAKING Chris Forino signs two and half year contract at Adams Park. Announced in the bar by Gareth Ainsworth #Chairboys https://t.co/VGQ23ACAMC" / Twitter
For a split second there I got excited, though I thought it was a little too nice of GA to come back to announce a signing at his old club.
On a paranoid note, Big Chris has not been on the grass in either of the training day videos. So either he has yet another knock (along with Vokes and Wheels) or.....?
Out of interest, when was our last 'Undisclosed??? Obviously we've been stitched up again...!' ?

I don't believe they are live streaming entire training sessions.
On the grass is a horrible expression isn't it.
Behold: a transfer rumour from a legit source! https://twitter.com/Stuart_Watson/status/1674090722020950017?t=0UAJWiJwPGp4opm3Ya369w&s=19
Yes.
One has to look at that and think we are 3rd choice. But who knows
The sort of thing one could only dream up while on the grass.
Used to hate "in the building" which I first becoming aware of when Taylor was our manager.
But "on the grass" is even worse.
"Get some minutes" not good either.
Sigh we need a signing soon.

I guess obviously Bloomfield has good Ipswich connections, and was coaching their kids for a while relatively recently, but I imagine this kind of deal goes beyond just having some mates at the club.
The other factor though is that he'd probably get more playing time with us than either of the other two.

How soon everyone has forgotten our new injury cascade!
'On the Wood' - Ready to make a return appearance from the bench.
'On the Grass' - Back in training.
'On the Concrete' - Still injured, but able to visit the stadium and walk around on a matchday.
'On the Upholstery' - Still working with the physio.
‘On the dance floor’ - indeterminate amount of time away from ‘the grass’ after nightclub sighting.
Remember at the end of the day it's all about winning football matches.
As a support "In the kitchen" would be my favourite closely followed by "In the bar"
