To get to 80 points (which still may not be enough) we basically need 7 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. So to my mind, we need to win as many as possible now to avoid having to go on a 7 game winning streak to close to the season! With Barnsley and Ipswich still to come, we don't have much wiggle room at all.
I've just seen on twitter that our fan who get drums banned is spending £180 to get a taxi to the game (arriving at half-term). That to me is just CRAZY and why hasn't common-sense come through?
I've re-phrased my comment above, I was under the understanding that as an agreement couldn't be met between him and the club, thats why the club then took action against him for fixtures at Adams Park.
I will apologise to those involved if I am wrong with this thought
He's there every home game, stands in the far corner of the terrace, normally with a big gap between him other supporters who move away as soon as he turns up... bar a couple of 15 year old youths who probably think he's cool.
On one hand they don't really have anything to play for so should be there for the taking. On the other hand Barton's half time talk is probably My brother's seen the score and he's got a massive huff.
yeah, but they know the pressure is on us as we have to go for it, otherwise our season peters out (obviously not just on the basis of tonight's result, but we are likely to need auto promotion form to crash the playoffs).
Anyway, Barton is obviously a prize arse and it'd be great to get him coming out with the usual gritted teeth sour grapey crap post-game, let's hope we give it a right good go.
We definitely have some pace in there with Campbell and Hanlan. I am really intrigued to see how this all fits together, specifically what kind of chances TJ will generate in a full start, seeing as he generated two (with one goal) in the last game.
I almost like feeling like our backs are against the wall with an unusual shape and a thin bench in a hostile environment. It would not surprise me if we come out fighting.
I don’t think Hanlan left the Gas on bad terms, but it would be wonderful to see The Old Boy Curse kick in tonight and then Hanlan run over and give it large in Barton’s face.

Is that picture of a statue from before or after he was pushed in the river?
That ball is not geometrically accurate
Odds from Betfair:
Home Win 2/1, Draw 12/5, Away Win 13/10.
With Bolton away to Sheffield W on Friday, this is a real chance to make up some ground. So another 'must win'.
ooh, a "competent side".
Sire, you spoil us with your faint praise.

Wasn't it a month or 2 back he was supplying his wisdom on why Ainsworth wasn't managing in the champs?

Is he still banned from AP?
I thought only the drum was banned from AP?

He was there last Tues.
Gilet with no top underneath, -2 degrees.
Rather him than me

Absolute chairLAD
That last midweeker was damn cold in 5 layers and 3 pairs of socks.
How he dealt with basically topless and in shorts is quite something. Isn't exactly built like one of those geordie fans with built in warmth (belly!)
Hopefully he can do us another Nostradamus favour and explain why Bloomfield is not a Championship manager this time around.

I'm fairly sure the drummer has learning difficulties. We need to be mindful of the lad. That's some taxi journey!!!

TJ starts, no Vokes, Wheels or Nick Freeman.
Scowen starts. Matshazi on the bench! But where is Vokes???
Four forwards there. Should be interesting. First ever league start for De Barr.
No Vokes and no Wheeler is very concerning. I think it’s going to be a tough night.
That line-up has left me with a low miff.
Vokes was injured at the end of Saturdays game.
I think this could be the least aerially capable line-up we’ve ever fielded up front. Oh well, ball to feet it is.

Hero forecast: Hanlan, De Barr and Forino.
Great for TJ and that line up should have the opposition scratching their heads! COYB!
So tough for Blooms. The half dozen we’re missing would start for almost anyone in the top half of L1.
