Yeh, to go the first third of the season at almost two points a game and then be in real relegation trouble in March is some kind of achievement in itself.
It must be a rollercoaster for fans to be genuinely wondering if they are Premier League bound 16 games into a season, and then be genuinely wondering if they are League One bound later in the season.
Not to sure that holds up scientifically! Had they not done the Haka they could, theoretically have lost by more ie did the Haka prevent further decline?
Much as it still just does not look right, I hope he comes through this and makes a success of it - it is still very, very early days. It would not surprise me if he watched the joyous scenes at AP wistfully, but he has accepted a mammoth challenge and there is no looking back.
It speaks to the pink slip nature of the four divisions that if a manager had stayed in the role exactly a year as of today, he would have the 40th longest tenure of the 92. If he managed two years as of today, he would have the 22nd longest tenure of the 92.
Over 50 managers with less than a year on the job!
I agree - I hope for his sake they can secure safety sooner rather than later and give him a summer to at least have a go at bringing some character players in.
So different from Mehmeti, who came in with Bristol City slightly looking over their shoulders, but they subsequently turned on the afterburners and Anis does not have to worry at all about dropping back into L1.
Some night so far for the tangerines, imagine someone nicks your manager, he's terrible, basically ruins them, they sack him pretty quickly and then you thrash them, expect we'll do it to QPR next season, probably in L1

Maybe you do get more points for must win games
So QPR lost 3-1 to Blackburn, learned the Haka, and then lost 3-1 to Rotherham.
Have they just scientifically proven that the Haka is overrated?

Touche!
Is it just me or does GA look stressed and unhappy in his latest interview?

Man, he looks really tired.
He looks ok but did blink "I want to go back to Wycombe" in morse code.
Fingers hiding his mouth is not a good physiological sign, at all.

He looks shattered & his body language suggest he is finding it very hard work & not enjoying it in the way he enjoyed his time with us

QPR 1-0 up.
QPR win, bottom three lose - well done GA!
QPR 1-0 down after 3 minutes, to a penalty. The good times did not last long!
Ooof. 2-0 Blackpool. Rumours of QPR's recovery may have been greatly exaggerated.
3-0 already. This is going to be a grim night for GA.
Ouch
4-0
Ooof. This could get very ugly indeed, though it already is.
Qpr are in trouble, Blackpool in paradise. Gaz's men need a bit of magic or some sparks in the 2nd half or some help from a higher power.
Could be a rollercoaster of a game. (Blackpool has a rollercoaster)
I'd have Blackpool Pleasure Beach as the best theme park in the UK.
5-1.
He chose to go there. I say let him get relegated.
